He actually put a health bar to the boss. Thats the best part of physics-based sandbox games. Possibilities are unlimited.
Ohhhh, I saw that health bar when it first appeared, but then I ignored it and forgot about it, so I was just as confused as Scrapman...

So glad to see part 2! Of course, @ScrapMan, you still find ways to do things that I was not expecting. Well played, sir! I expected the player would just drive and shoot on that last level (the police cars explode when shot). And nobody in my playtesting figured out that you can access a switch through glass as in level 4. I love how you thought that there were "treats" within the cardboard during the boss fight. Thanks so much for playing 😄. It was a treat to watch.
Oh, yeah, I actually figured out you can hit the switches through the glass, but I forgot to mention it. Sorry about that!

@@metelluscimber Probably, yeah
That would explain why the turret laser-aimed at that seat and messed with the closing sequence. There was supposed to be a closer seat to be aimed at. I'm a noob just messing with basic transforming things, right now, and figuring out controllers and logic. I haven't even spent a full afternoon in creative, yet, cause I was mastering vehicles in survival. I can't (currently) imagine how you do half of what you did.

Many thanks! I saw the bar at first (while watching the playthrough) though I did not know what it was. And when Scrapman was shotting the boss, I did not pay any attention to the bar! Again, many thanks for pointing this out!

17:44 on the final boss, notice the health bar, scrap man is hitting the boss, its just taking damage.
There's also a little "error" sound every time you hit his head. Kind of like the boss is fussing when he takes damage.

Cyberscrap is just a cool map
That final boss fight was awesome and the way he just pushes the machine gun away like it was nothing now that is awesome.
Edit: also the final boss design was epic
The boss fight sequence was actually the very first level that I created out of the whole pack. I was so pleased with it, that drove me to keep going with the rest of it.

I love this series
I imagine that second level was so short because it had many blocks he had to copy for it to look the same as the one in the previous episode, but when you went into Bud's those copied parts were not needed anymore.

Imagine If you could have a healthbar and take damage from spuds, imagine the creativity options that map and puzzle makers could create.
and bot spawning! which is already in creative. I really want them to let us turn on player health too. I just hope they develop the game faster while people are still interested.
At least you figured out that you need to put the hammer back in the chest faster than I did during Playtesting

Oh man, the first one was good but this one is outstanding.
This is a good video, but the real credit belongs to the creator of the level. This is absolutely not how Scrap Mechanic is supposed to be used, but it works beautifully.
That made me smile. Thanks so much! A lot of time and love went into it.

That was pretty darn cool! I loved the boss fight.
(btw, you were supposed to stay on the platform and he was going to shoot the explosive)
I cracked up when he hit that explosive. I put that there as a way to make it so that the player couldn't simply wait for the boss to run out of ammo. Ammo consumption is on to limit the player's ammo, so the same applies to the boss. Hitting one of his targets lowers the platform out of his shooting range. If you just sit there and do nothing, the protective barrier eventually moves and that platform gets sploded if it hasn't been lowered by hitting the boss's targets. A bit of an Easter egg, if you fall into the pit once that platform blows up and you haven't killed the boss, you respawn in a different location with "RESTART" written on the wall.

you where hitting the boss at the end... if you look behind him he has a health bar that gets lower with each hit

this would be an awesome idea how about you make a survival world and let one fan who has the game play each time and help you do all the work it would be a nomad style and the goal is to never get killed at all and you must only carry items that can fit in your pocket except the packages needed to get stuff at the treader shop and only a small vehicle to carry those items to and from package stations and treader as well as 2 chest the store fruit and all necessary items and a vac pump is allowed as well.. also the player that joins must leave all items in a chest for the next player to collect and use as well as all players must be able to play twice in the the sires
must include that all required items to play the game like the bots can be stored on a vehicle
Half a year and 74 days of asking scrapman to do : we searched for "normal" on the workshop for perfectly normal
creations!

Very impressive build. It must have taken SO long time to do.
It was worth every second of build time to see @ScrapMan play it and see everyone's reaction. Plus, I just have a blast building in SM. It centers me. Some days I'd sit there working on it for 4+ hrs straight and it felt like 10 minutes. I hope we get more SM content soon so I can branch out even more. Digital signs would have been a HUGE help on this...

whenever we get another SM update, who knows??? I wanted to wait until they put bot spawning in challenge mode, but we have no idea if/when that'll happen. That's why I created my own super goofy looking bots for lvl 3 haha

Haha I wasn't familiar with that but I see it now. I built him while looking at a picture of the skeletal terminator (T800?), keeping in mind I wanted to make him a "construction" bot.

Can you do a trailmakers multiplayer video where you kan kosmo and moon boo use a speed sensor to trigger a dynemite and two of you are going to slow down the one driving a car thatis a little bit big and the last one is going to defend the big car (like if you want to see a video with this challange)

I've always stuck to vanilla because I didn't want future SM updates (ha!) to make previous creations not work. I enjoy the challenge of finding ways to create with the tools I'm given.

If you're talking about the boss, there is no timer, but he does have a limited amount of ammo. But if you wait until he's out of ammo, then he's destroyed the platforms that you need to cross.
