Tbh i would really like to experience this for a day. I think its a mix of the white, the absence of sounds and being in a cell all day alone. As an introvert i cant really think of white or no sound giving me that much trouble. The problem would be boredem.

Long term sensory deprivation really is the worst. If your really lucky your mind will go batshit and fold on itself early so you can start the blackouts, but if your not I don't know of any physical punishment or torture that's nearly as bad

Current interrogation methods are terrible. The best interrogation method is just to ask the person. That’s all. If the interrogated feels in danger, is scared, or is being tortured for the information, they won’t tell the truth. They’ll just say what the interrogator wants them to say. In no interrogation is truth guaranteed.

My shopping list now includes earmuffs, eye mask, and thin gloves. For me, just for those who would put me on a list.
This isn't so different from solitary confinement that happens in US prisons all the time. Those prisoners might have done terrible things (and sometimes they might actually be innocent or mentally ill), but I feel like torturing them like that is still cruel. They say that guys that have done a long time in solitary confinement change permanently. They become a shell of a person.
Honestly, if I was in there my goal would be to sing as many songs as I could to annoy the guards into letting me go lol!

I was tortured with White Torture when I was fourteen. I was in Our Lady Of Peace Hospital in Louisville, KY.
After there I went to Bellewood Group Home in Anchorage, KY. Bellewood specialized in offering children to politicians, foreign dignitaries, and power brokers. Anchorage Public School knew and threatened my life for trying to expose my abuse.

Things to do in a white room:
-draw designs on the white wall with your blood (It's a nice canvas so long as it's not too slippery, if it is, just wait a while for it to coagulate a bit)
-whistle/sing (it's nice to make up some new songs once in a while)
-tap with your fingers for a beat (it can be addictive)
-make up a fictional universe in your mind (I would imagine what I would do to those fks when I get out)
-if you have long hair, make some braids or hair bracelets.
-play some pranks on guards (that would probably get you hit, but the whole point is to rile them up right?)
-pretend you've gone crazy just to let them get you out, and do it over and over when you want to get out for a while
-pretend to knock your head on the wall and die, and see what they would do.
This is hilarious because you are literally listing the things we would do in there when I locked up in one for weeks at a time in a mormon run brainwashing program as a child.
Well except the second to the last one. The whole point to is to completely and totally psychologically break you past the point of no return, so they literally don't care if you are screaming or saying crazy things to yourself or just sitting in the corner playing your own feces (and kids there did all of those things). So they are only letting you out if you manage to find a way to injure yourself to the point where you will die without immediate treatment.
I can only imagine that an Iranian prison might be worse than a program for American children.
Although who knows, I mean doing the things they did to us to captured enemy soldiers would be illegal under international law. But apparently doing it to children is legally acceptable.
