  • In October 2021, a church in New Jersey asked Dr. Frank Turek to give a presentation on Critical Race Theory because the issue was dividing their church and community. A capacity crowd of about 500 showed up and heard Frank address these three questions:
    1. What does the culture mean by social justice?
    2. What are the fundamentals of critical theory?
    3. How does it line up with Biblical Christianity?
He then answered questions from the audience for about 30 minutes.
There’s a lot of ground covered in this presentation, but if you want to go further you might want to check out the website of Dr. Neil Shenvi at shenviapologetics.com/

@@watchandjewelryloft4713 You have been led astray from the truth.
Evidence for Jesus Christ’s existence, crucifixion, and disappearance from the grave (He rose from it):
The Lord Jesus Christ did exist, gathered disciples, and was crucified and went missing from the grave. To argue about wether He was taken from the grave or rose from it, is an argument a skeptic can make. Because well if you disregard the eye witness testimony of the disciples and there willingness to die for Christ, and humans won’t die for something they know is a lie, when Peter is pinned upside down to that cross, he could have said that it was a fake, but He didn’t because it wasn’t, what care would he have about death in this world if he knew for a fact he had assurance of a life in another, Jesus Christ did rise from the grave and is the King of Kings and Lord of Lords. Now the evidence for the Lord Jesus Christ’s existence really isn’t hard to find a multitude of non-Christian scholars and historians mention Him within 150 years after the time of His life. One such is Tacitus a Roman historian who reported on emperor nero’s decision to blame the Christians for the fire that had destroyed rome in 64 AD. Tacitus wrote:
“Nero fastened the guilt ... on a class hated for their abominations, called Christians by the populace. Christus, from whom the name had its origin, suffered the extreme penalty during the reign of Tiberius at the hands of ... Pontius Pilatus, and a most mischievous superstition, thus checked for the moment, again broke out not only in Judaea, the first source of the evil, but even in Rome…”
In this Tacitus makes reference to not only Christians, but Christ calling Him Christus and confirming the Gospels going on to say that He suffered the extreme penalty (crucifixion) under the reign of Tiberius and by the sentence of Pontius Pilate, which like I said confirms the Gospels narrative.
Another important source of evidence about Jesus and early Christianity can be found in the letters of Pliny the Younger to Emperor Trajan. Pliny was the Roman governor of Bithynia in Asia Minor. In one of his letters, dated around A.D. 112, he asks Trajan's advice about the appropriate way to conduct legal proceedings against those accused of being Christians. Pliny says that he needed to consult the emperor about this issue because a great multitude of every age, class, and sex stood accused of Christianity. At one point in his letter, Pliny relates some of the information he has learned about these Christians:
“They were in the habit of meeting on a certain fixed day before it was light, when they sang in alternate verses a hymn to Christ, as to a god, and bound themselves by a solemn oath, not to any wicked deeds, but never to commit any fraud, theft or adultery, never to falsify their word, nor deny a trust when they should be called upon to deliver it up; after which it was their custom to separate, and then reassemble to partake of food - but food of an ordinary and innocent kind.”
This passage provides a number of interesting insights into the beliefs and practices of early Christians. First, we see that Christians regularly met on a certain fixed day for worship. Second, their worship was directed to Christ, demonstrating that they firmly believed in His divinity. Furthermore, one scholar interprets Pliny's statement that hymns were sung to Christ, "as to a god", as a reference to the rather distinctive fact that, "unlike other gods who were worshipped, Christ was a person who had lived on earth." If this interpretation is correct, Pliny understood that Christians were worshipping an actual historical person as God! Of course, this agrees perfectly with the New Testament doctrine that Jesus was both God and man.
You may have heard of the scholar Flavius Josephus who mentioned James as being the brother of the Lord Jesus Christ, which matches what Paul said calling James “The Lord’s brother” and there is another document that Josephus may have written which goes:
“About this time there lived Jesus, a wise man, if indeed one ought to call him a man. For he ... wrought surprising feats.... He was the Christ. When Pilate ...condemned him to be crucified, those who had . . . come to love him did not give up their affection for him. On the third day he appeared ... restored to life.... And the tribe of Christians ... has ... not disappeared.”
Now it’s up to debate wether this is the entirely original document of what Josephus wrote, or if a Christian had edited it. But regardless he wrote about the Lord Jesus Christ. Wether it was negative or positive like the possible document is. Anyways there are many other statements, documents, letters, and writings of all sorts from the ancient world talking about the Lord Jesus Christ and there is not one question if He was a real person or if He was crucified and went missing from the grave. That is clear as day, He is a real person, was crucified, and went missing from the grave. And He did rise from the grave. And for more evidence of the Lord Jesus Christ, there’s the Bible and you see there is no evidence the Bible is corrupted, a lie, created by the Roman government, folktale. It is the recount of the Disciples of the Lord Jesus Christ, now wether you want to believe it is up to you. And what profit was there in spreading Christianity, All the early Christian suffered persecution, beatings, and were killed. Another Scholar reported that James the Lord’s Brother was thrown off a building and then stoned to death for spreading the Gospel in Jerusalem. These people went to great lengths even giving their own lives for the Lord Jesus Christ

I kind of disagree with Dr. Turek's answer to the last question by the young asian man. I worked some with Hmong in a personal ministry. Their pastor got his doctorate degree after many years and they were having a service to honor Christ and him in this accomplishment. They invited me to attend this service so I did. When I first got there I was standing in the back looking for someone I knew and a gentleman approached me to ask if I was in the right place. I told him I thought so because I was there to celebrate the accomplishment of the pastor. He immediately went out of his way to make me feel welcome and at home. The service was done mostly in the Hmong language with just a few english words thrown in. There was enough english words and references to the Bible that I could sort of follow along. Afterwards I talked to the pastor and the youth pastor and told him he didn't have to use the english because I was there. He told me he didn't; he used it because the youth weren't all fluent in Hmong so it helped them. We then ate. It was a wonderful experience of Christian fellowship. I was pretty much mobbed by everyone welcoming me and introducing me to everyone. Good Christians are Good Christians in any language and we miss out when we don't experience that because of language barriers.

Why should the Christian care about Critical Race Theory? Is it as harmful to the faith as the politicians say it is to education, society, and human relations?
It’s a good question, and without spending lots of time researching the issue, most will just move on with their lives, caring little about its impact on the Kingdom of God.
I had one such individual come to me and ask me to narrow down my biggest complaint with CRT. Here’s what I told him:
Critical Race Theory is antithetical to the Gospel mainly because it is not redemptive. To put it another way, there is no forgiveness in CRT.
Whereas the Gospel heralds forgiveness as its core centerpiece, CRT is an open-ended analysis of guilt, shame, and blame; never allowing the offender or the offended an opportunity to assuage any wrong.
Further, the Gospel has a goal. CRT does not.
The end goal of the Gospel is redemption - justification before God and peace with fellow man.
The end goal of CRT is undefined - never able to bridge the gap of hate, injustice, or sin. Instead, CRT offers its adherents a cyclical pattern of pain, vengeance, and oppression.
Lastly, the Gospel has good fruit: love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, gentleness, and self-control - against such, there is no law.
CRT bears fruit of bitterness, guilt, blame, animosity, and division - against such, there are an abundance of laws.
So, choose for yourself how you will see CRT, especially in light of the glory of the Gospel of Jesus Christ.
For the Christian, the Gospel is sufficient to address the problem of sin. It does not need analytical tools to help it.
At a minimum, remember what's been said here. If you know nothing else about CRT, knowing that it is not redemptive is sufficient for the Christian to reject it wholly.

I think one of the major issues we all run into nowadays is a lack of nuance as well.
One example is the idea of "color-blindness" that was pushed in the '90s and early 2000s. While the intent was good, it made it too easy for people to ignore the truth of what happened to different groups in the States, and the world at large, because the was such an emphasis on ignoring color.
A more nuanced approach would have been to do you absolute best to treat everyone with the same level of respect and simultaneously keep in mind that everyone's *lived experience* is different; you cannot throw out what someone else says just because what you've experience is different.

Christ warns us not to cast judgment on anyone. But I think the word “judge” in this sentence “don’t judge a person by their skin color but judge based on the content of their character” is more about forming an opinion about a person based on their actions rather than their shade of skin. I’m not sure it’s much different, although casting judgement in Christ’s term is saying what you believe they deserve based on their character and actions, but in the MLK Jr sense it’s more about forming an idea about what kind of person they are. Both senses of “judgement” are biblical. Treat a person based on their actions alone, don’t judge based on shade. Two senses of judgement, same idea.

This is a statistically proven fact. Currently CRT has been demonstrated in school of simply explaining the history of America's past and actually including the ugly instead of sugar coating it or outright not teaching it. And for some reason it's look at as a bad thing by white people only. A simply Google search on CRT and it's original would eliminate all confusion. Voter ID laws I think are definitely a nuance and stuff and I'd tend to want to keep them. But yeah
It's just stuff like that and (the more clearly) racist statues that probably should be taken down or at least thought about... Well, critically.

I have my own opinion about when those get-togethers take place, who does most of the talking.
Really Frank's delivery is pretty polished (at least in New Jersey terms) mostly because it is REHEARSED A LOT but not because the ideas are that well thought out. He is used to expounding them to people who obviously are not beset by original ideas of their own.
Maybe Frank's great gift and talent is an enormous ego and an ability to make it not that evident to those devoid of an ability to critically evaluate his message about god. Which amounts to mostly a message about HIMSELF (as was also the case with Saul of Tarsus I'd say).

This came off unsenstive as a 28 year old black women... We are all trying to be like Jesus everyday. It is not a request to be apart of groups. But there are truth that must be faced. Things that aren't softened with comedic relief. I agree I will never know what it is like to be a white woman. I did grow up and still live in a small town with a handful of people of color. My sister dearest friend had to grow to understand things I stress about she will never have to consider. She is my sister her mom is mine. When I might share a story it might sadden her that another person make me feel worthless. I think that level of empathy is important. My thought with CRT is that it’s part of history. Historically there have been unfair and biased crimes against all groups of people - sometimes it’s due to race or class. Any wrongdoing against our brothers and sisters should be addressed, should be taught, should be remembered. This is how we prevent it from happening again. This is how we can help people who are full of rage come to peace and leave their life of hatred behind.

The only way to stop that is not allowing people to know the 100% truth of the history, which is why authoritarian countries prevent their citizens from knowing certain history.

I don't think he did a good job tackling the race issue, I don't think he did a good job actually explaining what CRT is, or give points from both sides. It sounded like he already had a conservative right-leaning perspective on the issue, echoed by using right leaning speech from Rice, Sowell, and Ben Shapiro. And it sounded like he was speaking to a majority white also right leaning crowd. So very little push back on some of the questions. Anywho. I hope to see him talk about this more, hopefully with some varying perspective as a way to fully explain this... better. And I say all this with love. 28 “‘An enemy did this,’ he replied.
“The servants asked him, ‘Do you want us to go and pull them up?’
29 “‘No,’ he answered, ‘because while you are pulling the weeds, you may uproot the wheat with them. 30 Let both grow together until the harvest. I have a major problem with one thing:
I've never heard my pastor talk about race, ever, and there's no racial messaging anywhere in the documentation and imagery around the church. Yet, the congregation is composed of many different groups, everyone gets along, and no one ever finds the need to bring up skin color. It's probably majority white, but so is the country, why is that a bad thing? Our congregation well represents the ethinic makeup of the area as a whole, which means our church appeals to all groups equally, and all without ever mentioning skin color.
I would not attend the church Frank was talking about, because I believe hiring a preacher based on skin color IS racist, and frankly if people refuse to attend a service with a pastor of a different color than them, isn't that an indication that they themselves have the racism problem? Why would we cater to that? What we should be doing is treating everyone equally and preaching the gospel, not appealing to racists.
Honestly, what's so hard about that?

By linking Jesus’s name to Zeus’s, they hope to “prove” that Jesus is a made-up character based on Zeus.
Mythicists have apparently based this particular claim about the supposed etymology of Jesus’s name solely on the phonetic similarity between the name Jesus and the name Zeus in English. Unfortunately for the people out there on the internet, names that sound similar in English are not necessarily etymologically related to each and, in the case of the names Zeus and Jesus, there is simply no etymological relationship whatsoever.

Regarding your Oppressed and Oppressor groups chart...switch the Oppressed group with the Oppressor group. That is how I see it today. The displayed Oppressed groups are oppressing the displayed Oppressor group. No one under this Critical Theory seems to understand that any group that bolsters itself politically as they have are oppressing other groups, no matter what that group is. Even the displayed oppressed groups are oppressing themselves.
Love ya Frank. Thank you for this very intelligent, coherent, and highly informative video.

This was an awesome video Brother Turek but to add more to your answer to the black sister’s question of, “How can Christians Unite against CRT?” I would say we can fight it together as Christians, by fighting for it in our person to person situations or better yet, your neighbor! Let me give an example, we can fight against racism by being unbiased in how we treat people of different ethnicities or skin colors. So let’s say your a Black cop and in a traffic stop you pull over a white pedestrian whom you happen to find is in possession of illegal substance. You should judge that person with the same judgement you’d have for someone of your own ethnicity or skin color.
So in other words we fight against CRT by fighting against injustices in our personal circles (treating people equal and based on the content of their character) with people of different ethnicities, social groups, skin color etc which will in turn fight against it or turn these circumstances around on a much larger scale.

She wasn't 100% against CRT. She was riding the fence to want to fix the problem that both spheres want to repair: racial divisions, oppressions, and suffering.

@@grcarie yeah she was saying how do you find the middle ground between satisfying the cries of the crowd vs actually tackling the issues that they face. In other words, we shouldn’t just disqualify the suffering of other people but we also shouldn’t overcompensate for their suffering. The answer lies somewhere in the middle ground

Some of us are called to plant seeds. Some of us are called to water the seeds. Some are called to harvest. Sometimes, we are called to do all three at different times with different people. Don’t be afraid to share the Gospel. You never know where someone is in their walk. Be prepared for all three.
“Then He said to them, “The harvest truly is great, but the laborers are few; therefore pray the Lord of the harvest to send out laborers into His harvest.” ‭‭Luke‬ ‭10:2‬ ‭NKJV‬‬
We are all made in the image of God but not all people are children of God.
“He came to His own, and His own did not receive Him. But as many as received Him, to them He gave the right to become children of God, to those who believe in His name:”
    ‭‭John‬ ‭1:11-12‬ ‭NKJV‬‬

THERE IS A BIG DIFFERENCE BETWEEN GROUP AND INDIVIDUALS. CRT TALKS ABOUT GROUPS, NOT INDIVIDUALS. NOT EVERY STATEMENT THAT IS TRUE FOR THE GROUP APPLIES TO THE INDIVIDUA AND VISE VERSA. THAT DOES NOT NEGATES GROUP ACTIVITIES. AND MAKING SUCH CLAIMS ARE STRAWMAN TO THE REAL ISSUE.

I know. But, when you are faking bible prophecy and pretending that the false chosen are a race, that just happens to match the color
of the presenter “Dr Frank Turek”, you can pretend to be fighting racism, while secretly supporting it via Europe and Western nations, who are still colonizing using MODIFIED Bibles, hoping no one notices.
God says a Jew is spiritual by conversion vis Faith-the gospel preached into Abraham. Instead, these guys have made it about the flesh and blood and skin, and worldly gain, clearly supported by the US and British.
See how they replace the “Holy Generation” with “Holy Race”…it doesn’t say “races”, but race. So beware of the liberal. They can rule behind the scenes or just grow their beard out and claim they are not white, despite the fact that Netanyahu is lighter than Trump.
The chosen generation are all those who are REGENERATED-ie converted/born again as spiritual Jews (one Lord, One faith-not 3 abrahamic faiths lie).
      Deuteronomy 14:2 (KJV)
For thou [art] an holy people unto the LORD thy God, and the LORD hath chosen thee to be a 👉🏾peculiar people unto himself, 🔥above all the nations🔥 that [are] upon the earth👈🏾.
God is talking about the heavenly host, not those born of flesh and blood on this earth. God is talking about the Holy Generation (regenerated).
      1 Peter 2:9 (KJV)
But ye [are] a 🍇chosen generation🍇, a royal priesthood, an holy nation, a peculiar people; that ye should shew forth the praises of him who hath called you out of darkness into his marvellous light:
      CHANGED “GENERATION” TO “RACE”
      Titus 3:5 (KJV)
      Not by works of righteousness which we have done, but according to his mercy he saved us, by the washing of 🍇regeneration, and renewing of the Holy Ghost🍇;
      Global Colonist corrupted Bibles.
1 Peter 2:9 (ESV) But you are a 🔥chosen race🔥, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, a people for his own possession, that you may proclaim the excellencies of him who called you out of darkness into his marvelous light.
1 Peter 2:9 (NET) But you are a 🔥chosen race🔥, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, a people of his own, so that you may proclaim the virtues of the one who called you out of darkness into his marvelous light.
1 Peter 2:9 (RSV) But you are a 🔥chosen race🔥, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, God's own people, that you may declare the wonderful deeds of him who called you out of darkness into his marvelous light.
1 Peter 2:9 (ASV) But ye are an 🔥elect race🔥, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, a people for God’s own possession, that ye may show forth the excellencies of him who called you out of darkness into his marvellous light:
      1 Peter 2:9 (YLT) and ye are a 🔥choice race🔥, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, a people acquired, that the excellences ye may shew forth of Him who out of darkness did call you to His wondrous light;
      1 Peter 2:9 (DBY) But *ye* are a 🔥chosen race🔥, a kingly priesthood, a holy nation, a people for a possession, that ye might set forth the excellencies of him who has called you out of darkness to his wonderful light;
      1 Peter 2:9 (KJV)
But ye [are] a 🔑chosen generation🔑, a royal priesthood, an holy nation, a peculiar people; that ye should shew forth the praises of him who hath called you out of darkness into his marvellous light:
They are faking prophecy with the “gathering in the so-called land”. And Frank Turek is a fool and deceiver.
If you ask Frank, “who are the fake Jews?”, they play dumb or give you some mumbo jumbo convoluted answer. Jesus said my sheep never perish (all flesh perished) because they are spiritual and have believed the gospel.
      Philippians 3:3 (KJV)
For we are the circumcision, which worship God in the spirit, and rejoice in Christ Jesus, and have no confidence in the flesh.
      Revelation 3:9 (KJV)
Behold, I will make them of the synagogue of Satan, which 🔥say they are Jews, and are not🔥, but do lie; behold, I will make them to come and worship before thy feet, and to know that I have loved thee.
This is why God put twins (Jacob and Esau) in the Bible, to point out it has nothing to do with flesh and blood, but FAITH.

I am really struggling with this issue I am a believer in Christ and I am studying Sociology as one of my majors my professors are teaching CRT but I love Jesus and will do anything God calls me to do but I'm clueless what to do in this situation? Do I leave this study or do I stay and try to be Christ's light in my school? No matter what Major I change to, this is being taught in colleges and universities in every study or field now.... I am almost graduating and I really just want to transfer to A Christian University I'm tired of indoctrinations. Please pray that God will provide for a Christian University.... Thank you brothers and sisters. I need direction 🙏
