Not gonna lie, swapping the cord from the wall to the computer can be a bit obnoxious as you gotta always keep tabs on it. It never became an issue but you're 100% not wrong. I think it comes down to the weather proofing that leaned them away from that decision. -Walsh
Thanks for reviewing. You won't see this become popular for law enforcement applications because the Flir Breach has quickly filled that niche for many state and local government due to existing Flir contracts.

Flir is outdated 2017 technology, a lot better options.
