@tamikawilliams9745 thank you so much! I truly want to make content for us with TJ that is simple and easy to process! Let me know what other items we need and I will (attempt a) video!
Thank you so much. I have been looking for an in-depth explanation of doing a group page on travel joy. This was everything I needed to know and I really appreciate you. I have someone that wanted to do a group trip but did not want to put a deposit down and they wanted a booking page but I've been going crazy with private label and affiliate pages for vendors that deal with a particular resort . This is perfect!!
Hi! Thank you for the kind words -- just out here trying to share what we have learned by trial and error. To answer your question -- you can add the pricing for children in the "Add - on" section. This is just one suggestion on how to accommodate the pricing for children. Be sure to advise your clients to click on this portion if their children meet the criteria for pricing for the trip. (I hope this helps).
Thank you! That will automatically come up when you enter your package pricing. It will filter from the lowest price point -- so that is what the client will see on the initial part.
Kimberly, you are a God send. Your thorough explaination helped me truly understand what I am doing with Travel Joy! Do you show us how to do a proposal as well?
Thanks for this video! I have a question about the swag bags? Do you have them in clients rooms before they get there? I'm very much interested to know the details of what you for this.
Hi Kimberly, this video is great but my question is what happens next? When you send out the link and people start booking, what does it look like and how is it managed from there? Any examples you can give for this?
This was so helpful I honestly needed to see this I have been struggling on how TA's create this. My question to you is when you add the pictures of the room will that be next to the price once you view it. I have always wondered how they were able to do that. Last question? How do you know that those rooms will stay available and how long do you give them to make their initial deposit? This video is life changing thank you from 1 TA to another.
Hi! I hope this isn't too late! I upload or copy the pictures within the package setting so it's in the price point it needs to be in. For the amount of time for the deposits, I usually give a disclaimer with language around "prices/availability may change prior to securing with a deposit". If it is a group and the leader has confirmed they are ready to move forward, I'll give 3- 7 days. Any longer, you miss opportunities for booking.
Thank you for this information Kimberly! This was very helpful by any change do you know how to set up group funds for payment so that all the funds collectively can pay partners or suppliers when paying large amounts on the trip.
Hi! I usually use the supplier form of the bookings and haven't set up the direct group payment bookings. I only use the direct invoice so that those payments will come to me - like excursions, transportation, fees, etc. No packages because I do not want to deal with any issues of "mixing" money.
Just two questions. Are you notified when they submit a reservation? How do they go in to make additional payments do they create a login or something? p
Yes, TravelJoy sends a notification to the email that you have associated with the account. They can make a payment (direct) or you can make the payment (supplier) through your vendor. The difference is the choice of method that you choose -- either supplier (you make the payment) or direct (they pay the platform) but in this case you will be transferring the money to the vendor.
Hi! Thanks for sharing that great information. How do you make sure your rates are guaranteed to stay that price without increasing until the date set? Do you somehow make a plan with the vendor? With airfare all over the place, I'm wondering how this part of it is done.
Thank you @Geri Haugen for your question. With my bookings -- I always express to my clients that the price is subject to change prior to securing with a deposit. I have contracted with some vendors and the rates stayed the same with those group bookings. But with all others -- I provide that "price may change" disclaimer.
Hi. I hope this is not answered too late! But in your group, you will see a link in the menu bar that says Group Files. Click on that to see either your saved draft or your published document. Once it opens, you'll see the group booking you created!
Hello @marissapuryear4217.Thank you for the inquiry. Under your group booking page, there is a tab that says "Group Files" when you click on that tab, it will open up your group booking page. You can then go to the portion that you need to edit, make your changes and then save. Once you save, click the PUBLISH button again (this will update your changes). Your group page is now updated with the changes.
Yes, you can use a form already in TravelJoy and customize to your preferences or build your own. I actually used one that was in their library and customized for my additional information. Feel free to use my discount code for 50% off ($15 to try it out for three months)

Excellent Video!!! How did you add "Prices Starting At" on the package page?
Thank you! That will automatically come up when you enter your package pricing. It will filter from the lowest price point -- so that is what the client will see on the initial part.

Is it an easy way for roommates to pay deposits separately. It is making the first traveler pay for both at booking. Is it a way around this?
This was awesome. How can you locate the Group booking page you created? Or where are the drafts saved?
Hi. I hope this is not answered too late! But in your group, you will see a link in the menu bar that says Group Files. Click on that to see either your saved draft or your published document. Once it opens, you'll see the group booking you created!
How do you edit a booking package after you have published it?

Can a customized form be added for the traveler info portion?
