I remember when this came out in 2010, it surprised the underground italo/euro disco communities. The seven inch itself is legendary, though back in 1987 there was never an extended done. But Iventi came with the idea to extend this underground smash hit for DJs somehow. So how did they do it? First they must have taken the original 7 inch record, sample and restore it very carefully to the highest possible fidelity. Next the idea was to go to the edit room, cut out the original bassline and drums, and paste more loops here and there. Plus, adding one totally new DJ break, using a synth popular around 2010 in Iventi productions. And this is it! Eventually you are listening to a fusion of old 1987 and 2010 studio sounds, the result is quite good with high mixability. However in my personal opinion the overall result is a bit dull, too repetitive, the extended lacks a real 12 inch multi-track feel, probably in 2023 some extra magic could be applied using AI. Thanks anyway! :)
