I was there (Sail Rock) in October of 2012 and we saw 4 or 5 but at the time I was told they just returned in 2011 after having disappeared for 3-4 years...lucky me I guess...and there is still the beloved Whale shark!!

What was the last time you saw bull sharks in Thailand?. I always worry about the fate of our sharks here. Great video.

Scary thing! Seam Guld also has some of them.... but people swim light-mindedly

They started to appear at this dive site (Sail Rock) back in July last year, then they suddenly disappeared in November. No longer there, and no one has seen one since, that i am aware of. Not good news at all.
    Thanks for the comment.

I don't know if you will read this, but were bull sharks a lot more common at Sail Rock back in the day?

They just suddenly appeared one day, then about 3 months later disappeared just like that. So was very strange. I heard it had happened a couple of times over the space of 6 years or so.

Sharks in general used to be alot more common in the gulf of Thailand, but overfiskning stopped that.
However, afaik, Covid has brought back at least the TIigershark in the Thai Andaman.
