the switch from fake laugh to real laugh is the best 1:33 atleast thats what i think. hopefully the elbow line wasnt scripted and thats why ricky laughed so hard
@Black Coffee Now haha I think it’s highly likely then that you’re probably one of the complete annoying bellends he takes the piss out of in his series.
After Life, such a delicate subject, but the humour is just fantastic. A wonderful cure for all the pains which we all go through. Hats off to Ricky, a tremendous comedian and person.
I loved how happy and amused the airhorn startling Matt made Tony feel. I think it reminded him of when he used to do it to Lisa and it genuinely made him happy even if only for a short time. Really was awesome to see ❤️
Seriously, this could be so great, I can picture the trailer now [deep dramatic voice] "Finally, the movie of the decade is here, see Colin Hoult as Ken Otley as Robert De Nero as Travis Bickle in this beautiful, yet brutal, musical adaptation of Martin Scorsese's Taxi Driver. Watch out Wigan, there's a vigilante on the streets, he may be camp, but he means business. BANG BANG!!!"
I'll get on the lyrics to One day a rain's going to come along... I have actually written a 4 part battle jam rap (Throwdown/Throwback/2 part Reconciliation - think Eminem in '8 Mile') to Mary Poppins 'Feed the Birds (Tuppence a Muthafuckin' Bodybag)' RUDEBOY! You are now talkin' to Mary And you may think that you're scary With your trash talk And your threats To my feathered menagerie!
The funniest bit was where the dude was so disgusted when he threw the ashes in his face and he claimed to have swallowed some and Tony replies 'Good, I hope that was his cock you c**t!!' 😂 😆 🤣
Watched this to see what the fuss is all about. Didn't laugh once, didn't even smile. This is humour a 13 year old boy would probably come up with to impress his mates. It's crude, immature and stupid.
I loved loved loved this series…. except any scene with the creepy therapist and his asshole friends. I would have to fast forward through those scenes, they were too cringy for me.
Everyone who finds this funny has a kitchen with ‘live, laugh love’ on the wall,a wife who owns a shirt with ‘momma needs wine’ written on it, a top gear calendar, and a dvd box set of James Corden’s car pool karaoke.
Ricky Gervais and Steve Coogan are not attractive men and I have noticed in most of the work they do they surround themselves with less attractive people than themselves so that it makes them look more attractive in comparison.
A third is funny, two thirds are boring and depressing. Have your fast forward button available. It’s sad he wants to try to do serious stuff. Derek was worse.
I re-watched this again the other day, and I hate to say it, it's Ricky's weakest work. The jokes are recycled from the podcast days, and then pretty much squandered. The music choices aswell are so cliché to what's actually happening in the show its laughable. Derek is almost very similar. Ricky needs a co-writer like Merchant to stop him making really shit decisions.
Directed by Gervais, you realize there’s almost no action in this show. Everyone talks as if they’re doing a comedy routine or shooting out one liners, usually standing or sitting. Quite uncomfortable.
Thought this series was awful and I loved the first two. Seemed to lack a proper plot and was just a collection of scenes that Gervais finds funny. The Ratty & The Nonce parts in this series were so bad it was hard to watch.
@@MattWilliams482 my thoughts exactly, it just felt like a Mish mash of things. A niche example but there was a scene where Tony sneaks up on Matt with an airhorn when he's stacking shelves. It just reminds me of those early videos of him pranking Karl Pilkington.
This show is the opposite of anything that is funny. Basically, the plot: I hate everyone around because they are twats, but ladies still keep telling me how funny and cool i am because i write the mediocre fucking show.
Rickys laugh is the ultimate cure 😂😂
its so nice to hear. Used to play his podcasts in france and ppl walking past my window would smile at his laugh... yes I see the irony of this 😂😂
the switch from fake laugh to real laugh is the best 1:33 atleast thats what i think. hopefully the elbow line wasnt scripted and thats why ricky laughed so hard
Ennit
No, it's not.
It's fucking disgusting.
The scene in the tearoom with the hipster gnome was the greatest moment ever.
I agree, Ricky is pure Genius!
I hope all the dickhead parents that actually do this in real life see that scene and realise it’s about them.
@Black Coffee Now haha I think it’s highly likely then that you’re probably one of the complete annoying bellends he takes the piss out of in his series.
@Black Coffee Now you sound like you enjoy black coffee, with now sugar or any sweeteners whatsoever, which is roughly translates to depressed

4:19 - doctor, off duty. OMG I lol at that every time.
her face when he says why wouldn't you help? 🤣🤣🤣
I think Ricky Gervais enjoyed the airhorn scene... I detected genuine laughter there!
Him puking in the tennis court. And then just saying “what” so calmly to him like it’s nothing got me😂
I loved how happy and amused the airhorn startling Matt made Tony feel. I think it reminded him of when he used to do it to Lisa and it genuinely made him happy even if only for a short time. Really was awesome to see ❤️
The way Ricky says 'take a picture' always craics me up !
I would pay good money to see Taxi Driver: The Musical.
BANG BANG!!!
Let's do it! Lolz

I fuckin love Ricky’s laugh 🤧❤️🔥
But .. where's the bar scene when Tony pours his fathers ashes on the carpet ??
I never thought I could laugh that much

Afterlife is the best thing going on in my life right now.
The lad in the bath James is a great piss take of James Corden.
100% David Earl wrote the Taxi Driver song. It’s classic Cumbo song writing
Best TV show ever
This was an unexpected upload 🤩
This show is brilliant.
Should've included the kid's portion fish and chip scene. Gold
8:38 LMFAOO😂
“What do you mean what!”
When’s taxi driver: the musical coming to Netflix?
BANG BANG
You looking at me!?
the squash scene is the funniest scene in any tv show i've ever watched
"my naughty lolly" 😂😂😂😂
the loud insults are personal man😂

"That would explain a lot actually" 😂
Now go back to your postman boyfriend killed me 😂
WHAT KIND OF CAKE?!
Just for a moment I thought the thumbnail was a Gervais quote against Peter Dinklage.
The Choking in the background😭😭😭

5:27. Fucking loose it every time I see it 🤣
hahahhaha this is hilarious
The bath scene has to be inspired by The Inbetweeners, it's like Simon in the bath.
I’m off duty😂
Well I ditched Netflix, but glad this is out there!
Bang bang! I’m a taxi driver!!!!
Karl Pilkington inspired MANY of these gags
I agree with Stuart Lee's description of After Life.
Which was?

Would love to see Taxi Driver the musical directed by Ricky & the South Park guys
wish they would show whole episodes on you-tube .
Yeah but they can’t sadly
Crazy how they got Keemstar in for the show
naw cuz 8:54 i died
Can anyone recommend more shows like after life and fleabag
"Open Wide"
*Small smile*
Fuck, i almost woke the kids up.
2:00
The air horn scene, Ricky needn’t have done much acting as I could imagine him doing that to Karl
no one says no to a flake cake
ANNLACKKEEEE
Well it's certainly a list of moments, but whether they're the funniest moments is open to debate
How is the therapist scenes not in this montage?!
This is just season 3
OH MyFucking God???
"keep your gums" he said????
Seen this once and just heard this missed gem watching the funny bits!!! 😂😂😂😂
I dropped a piece of my pasty on the floor, can’t find it.

Ugghhh....I'm so annoyed
I enjoyed this but the final series was truly awful
