How Often Should I Be Watering My Plants?

It can be a challenge for new gardeners to know how often their plants need to be watered. I am here to help you learn how to determine the watering needs of your plants and factors that can affect it.
I grow flowers and vegetables in Saskatchewan, Canada. My cold hardiness zone is zone 4. I have an average of 110 frost free growing days each year. The past few years have seen our temperatures go as low as -37C (-34.6F) to as high as 37C (98.6F). Come see what and how I grow in these conditions.

Such a great video! Do you ever add fertilizer to your water? I'm trying to get my flowers looking better and I'm thinking this might help.

I fertilize my flower pots once a week with water soluble fertilizer.
