People will argue victims will get arrested for reporting sa when they don't have sufficient proof. The only way it'd work is if there was obvious proof of no sa/proof of sa. It'd also torpedo the me2 movement because they believe that you should ALWAYS believe the victim even of the story has more holes than Swiss cheese.

S2: Dude in this story could have caught his wife in the act and he'd still be oblivious saying he has no reason to believe she cheated. For gods sake it's all right there in front of you! The puzzle is complete, how many more pieces do you need?!
Edit: So he's okay with the cheating but not okay with lies she told her AP's? What is wrong with this dude???
Edit 2: I can't even finish the story, it's so infuriating!

If it's me and whoever harasses me for my decision my first instinct would be to start recording them and say "ok so my wife falsely accused me of (____) and had me prisoned. This is (full name) and wants me to forgive her. Now state your argument." With camera flashing on their face

Well said. Plus, if someone had gotten wind of the wife's violent outbursts, they would contact social services to take that poor kid away from her, and place her in the foster care system, and then, with another family, through closed adoption.

Story 1: Sounds a lot like DRC (Dream-Reality Confusion), which is when a person wakes up but is still stuck in a dream and cannot rationally interpret the reality in front of them. It's not uncommon in people who suffer from narcolepsy, for example. With that said that's just an explanation, not an excuse, and OP is right to get as far away as possible from her, because even if she didn't do it deliberately in any way, shape or form she is still incredibly dangerous for OP to be around.

S1: yup no fixing that she got to go and for the false accusation that was proven false she needs to be in jail. that’s one of if not the wildest accusation that could get levied against you ever. But since women get special privilege to do this and things like it in society with no recourse in real life they have no reason to stop and seems they never will.
Thank you everyone who said story 2 is terrible I don’t do doormat stories if she was cheating on you and you had all the signs and evidence and sheesh even if you saw it personally and you don’t leave you are what you will always be something people wipe they’re feet on.

I remember the second story from years ago. Guy is a full on idiot. Guys, if you get cheated on, especially if you both are professionals and they have been doing it with coworkers, just leave. Don't even entertain the idea of saving anything but your stuff. Op let her know his every move and now he added to the pain he has to get over. It's so much easier to just leave, without a word and if you're gonna blow their life up , stfu and do it without a word. They are your enemy and they don't care about you. I don't know why that is so hard to understand.

That SA story is what i call a ramping spiral where if he had sqaushed the way he felt and went back to talk to her. Maybe he could've managed to get her to go check in for psyche assessment. Except that would mean he had some grounding in mental health. Which most people don't, hence the ramping spiral and not until years from now does it fall into place.
