As someone who's lived here my entire life, this city makes you feel like you've stepped back in time to the 80's. I haven't gotten that feeling anywhere else in the world except here lol. Ice cream shops, arcade strips and tourist attractions galore.
Thank you for sharing your video. We were on the American side on JUNE 2020 and from the Observation Tower I took a picture of Clifton Hill. It looked amazing and I wondered what it would be like to be there. Thanks to your video I’m gonna make plans to visit the Canadian side. I can’t wait. I wish I could post my picture but RUclips doesn’t give you the option
Hello Johnny Strides happy weeknd to you how's it goin man. This definitely was a good out of this world gorgeous ole throwback walkstream pre-covid through canadian side of Niagara Falls and can't u believe annually up to now always breaking my own promised of heading to Fallsview casino 1 of these days, tired of casino Rama but next year will get back more busey entertainment wise, praying hard that all protocols will for sure be lifted if we keep up our awesome squeaky cleeen healthy behavior wich 100%optimistic we will and put up with 😷 wearing for 5 more months but guvernmant tem not perfect but well see. nice 🌈 over Falls. cheers
Sweet, I moved to the Falls last November. The trick to cheap parking is to look around the side streets for motels like the one at 5:31 When occupancy is low many of them will have signs saying $5 all day parking, gotta make that tourist $ somehow.
Thanks! I have family in the area so there's never been any need to stay in a hotel Niagara. My understanding is that it's really hit or miss. I think the best thing to do is spend some time on Tripadvisor and trying to find one that is generally well received. Enjoy your trip!
Very nice video! Support here from [ Randy and May's Lifestyle ] channel. We just had an adventure in Niagara Falls and put up videos of our journey. Watching this brings back those memories we created just over a month ago. Keep up the great work!!!!!!
Really enjoyed watching this video! I went here when I was a kid in the late seventies all the way up to the mid-80s and I can see some big changes there. not sure if I saw the sky lawn and is the Panasonic still there? thank you for the Memories
@@JohnnyStrides wow If you had filmed it a couple hours ago I'd probably be able to spot myself in the video. I was there around 2 PM on the same day and that was the only time I've ever visited Niagara. Shocking haha Thanks for answering man, maybe I'll come back in the winter time, not sure if everything is going to be opened and working the same way. What do you say?
@@Fems1747 ah.. close but not quite lol. I have no idea, I'd imagine since it's part of the golden horseshoe that it will re-open at the same rate as Toronto. My mom lives that way so I'll bring my camera next time I'm out there and record another walk!
@@JohnnyStrides Ok, I misunderstood....I was thinking 10 minutes for 1.7 km, but you said 10 minutes until Clifton Hill. Nothing to do with your video, but I have been a bit sensitive to reports on the net on how fast the averse person walks; i.e., 3 to 4 mph when I know the an average person does not walk that fast unless my FitBit is way off. Regardless, I should have praised video first. Great job 👏 Thanks.

I miss this place. God knows when will I go back in this wonderful place...
Ohhhhhh, we just spent a few days there at the Howard Johnson, we walked all the back roads as well , I love the falls especially at night.
I agree with you, they're the best at night :) Thanks for watching!
Now THAT was EPIC 👍💯✅!
Thanks! I hope to go back in the winter.
مرحبا صديقي فيديو رائع رائع حقا شكرا جزيل لك هذا ما كنت اود رؤيته شلالات نياجرا شكرا مرة اخرى
Thanks for the kind words and thanks for watching!
I think it's about time for an updated version.
Aside from the revenue they've received nothing has changed.
This walking clip is way better than the niagara drone films

Thanks for the tip! I visit often as my folks live there. I usually just park at the spot I did in the video free.
@@JohnnyStrides yeah at Portage Bakery, If they aren't really busy it's a good spot.
I live in the falls and it has it’s up and downs
Fantastic video! Showed everything we needed/wanted to see. Can you suggest lodging in the Clifton Hill area?

@@JohnnyStrides Awesome, thanks buddy. Just subscribed to your channel.
12:00 did this guy swear at you?
If you walked just under 3 km in 10 minutes you were walking 11 miles per hour. Nobody walks that fast. In fact, people do not jog that fast.
The video is 40 mins, not 10 so not sure what point you're making here?
