I got maybe the first 300xc in New England and still have the original map (60 hours on bike). This is at least the second update they've released. I need to go get it installed - just dragging my feet because it's a 6 hour round trip to my dealer. Bike runs great but could always be better! I had two codes pop up recently after a hard spill. Bike is still running great, just need to get the codes cleared and map updated. sometimes my idle is low despite messing with the idle screw - would be nice if the new map helped with that. My only other gripe is that I wish there was more separation between green and white maps. I primarily ride in the green map, I like the overrev power. I wish the white map had less bark to maintain traction in slippery environments. I've been debating pulling the map switch but I'll see how this new map feels and also see what TSP announces which I expect to come soon!
I would recommend getting your bike to the dealer to confirm the fault codes. Then have the dealer do the complete reset of your idle settings (involves turning the cold start and idle screws all the way out and moving them back to desired position while the bike is hooked up to the XC2 tool at the dealer). Have the dealer reset the PV also. Then install the latest EFI map. I find the biggest separating between the white map and green map is felt mostly from the top end (green simply keeps making power and revs out farther). I usually run the green map for a little stronger roll on torque feel though with the update the white map feels a tick stronger in the mid range so will probably end up running the white map more now. Let me know how your bike runs after that long trip to the dealer.
I’m picking up a leftover 23 xc300 next week and I asked about the latest updates for the bike. The dealership assured me that when they unlock the bike it will get the latest update. I haven’t ridden one of the 23’s so I won’t know its the new map or old map.
Yes when the dealer unlocks the bike they will see there is an update required. This latest update has the dealer reset the cold start and idle screw along with the power valve and install a new map. Your bike will then have the latest EFI map and should run as it was designed to run from the factory - very strong and clean! Let me know how the bike works for you!
Take your 250XC to a dealer and have them hook it up and see if there is an updated map available. Also have them reset the PV and perhaps even do the idle reset - should make it run properly so you will want to ride it more
I've ridden TSP modified (head and mapping) 21 300 Erzberg and it was very good. The 300XC and TX300's I owned ran well enough stock that I felt little need to modify them. These latest TBI engine mapping should continue to improve...what areas are noticeably better on TSP modified TBI engines?
@@ronthompson9036 Yes amazing how the fuel injected 2-strokes evolved so quickly. I am also amazed just how well Beta (an old family owned company) is able to build such a clean running with smooth linear power 300cc 2-stroke with a simple carb and mechanical power valve and it comes with a map switch choice of full or soft power.... ruclips.net/video/iYo6O0IpKZo/видео.html
Heritage TX tripple-hondo's rule baby...old school cool vibe with the sit n twist torque. BAROOOP!😊
I agree!!!
Where’d you get those plastics and graphics? Looks killer
That is the stock plastic/graphics/seat that come on the 2023 Heritage models. Very similar to the look of the 1983 Husqvarna models. I like it too!

Thanks. I really enjoy the videos these new TBI models and it truly gives potential buyers a test ride before they hand over all that cash.
Enjoy your new 23 300XC! One of my favorite '23 300XC rides - really does it all! ruclips.net/video/VL5NPXdHbjc/видео.html
Hopefully they did the same with the 250's. My 23 250xc runs dirty, it's so bad I only put 1.5 hrs in 6 months, have zero interest in riding it.

I never in my life thought these bikes would have become so good. Sure wish I would’ve had these when I was younger.
