getting along means excepting both points of view not one.. Unfortunately most want all or nothing.. The older generation should be accepted as well as the younger .. Meaning compromise that is what getting along means. Not one way or the other.. The church I go to plays both and I am glad that they actually get along.
@rose God's anointing hasn't left every church and there are still Apostolic Churches out there that are still standing for Holiness or Hell no in between...I truly hope and pray that God blesses you to be at the church he desires for you to be a church that is teaching/preaching the Apostles Doctrine
From reading 1 Timothy 3:16... God could only be "justified in the spirit" and "received up into glory" if He came in the form of a man. The oneness doctrine states that God is Jesus and the Holy Spirit, not that these are separate persons. I am oneness all the way, because, like Deut. 6:4 says, there is only one God!
God does not need to be justified in the spirit--he already is. He does not need to be received up into glory for that where he eternally resides. Scripture does not state anywhere, no matter what biblical version, that God became Jesus. It does intimate however that Jesus is God. Two different things and simple to understand when you know the man full of the spirit of His father.

I don't know what you mean by "Apostolic music". Apostolic is a doctrine of salvation and Bible-based living, not a style of music. There will always be a musical era that people consider "old-time", and someday even this song will be considered old-time.

We have so many do's and don'ts but this song is like the parable of the prodigal son-he will welcome you back with open arms even after you have strayed so long. You cant have it both ways--Jesus cannot be both the sacrifice for sin and the one to whom the sacrifice is made. Everything points to Christ as the messiah bringing to fruition the promise of the Father. Jn 1:1 is constantly brought up but the "Word" does not mean Jesus. You cant prove it does....
