Excellent rendition. One of the things I love about this group is that with good headphones one can hear the most amazing presentation of the bass and tenor parts, which are overwhelmed in the full chorus versions. Thank you.
You're very welcome, Vern! My friend Mike did the mixing on this, and he did a fantastic job of blending our voices in just the right way throughout the song and baking in the astounding dynamics. :)
Thank you, Doc!! And thank you for nurturing such a strong love of sacred choral music in all of your students. I miss GC Choir all the time, I'm so grateful I had the privilege of singing with you all.
+Jaron Davis I do, too. I also subscribed to Lloyd, but have not found Lydia. If she is not on RUclips, please pass on my commendations for her part in this. Everyone did a wonderful job, and you have a masterpiece to,show for it.
This is one of the most beautiful pieces I have ever heard. I adore sacred music. I wish this Alleluia could go on forever. You are all wonderful!! In Gratitude, Rev Leslie
Hallelujah! This literally brought me to tears. Such a beautiful song and sung absolutely wonderfully! Great job to all of you! Lydia you sound like an angel. You truly have a beautiful voice.
Yay, thanks, Luke; I'm glad you enjoyed this! :D Lydia did a fantastic job as both Sopranos, as did Lisa and Lloyd in both of their parts. I was lucky enough to be surrounded by such talent. :)
Yay, thanks, Soundole! This one actually reached the ears of the original composer - which unleashed an amazing experience I still have yet to fully grasp. :)
Dropped by from reddit, this is fantastic. All of you are extremely talented, and your voices mix so well. (The actual mix is also wonderful!). You can tell this is a product of talent and work; it really shows. You all should be proud. Thanks for sharing this with us!
Thanks so much for listening, Will! It very much was a product of talent and work. I was lucky enough to be surrounded by such talented people, and me and a friend worked hard on getting the mix just right. :D
Thanks, Frances! That's true enough :) Lisa, Lloyd and I recorded in the same space on the same mic, and Lisa and I travelled to Dallas to capture the Lydia's parts on a different (better) microphone at Mike's place. I did countless hours of comping and sent the result to Mike, and he took it and made a fabulous final mix of the song (and a little bit of comping himself). We couldn't have flown so high without him, as his final mix was nothing short of gorgeous! And he was incredibly gracious to let us record in his space.
Jaron Davis Yes, you all did! I'm looking forward to hearing more quality music on your channel. Being a retired music teacher and children's choral director, I'm getting my music fix here. ♡♡♡

오오 성령충만하도다. 할렐루야. Now I feel like I'm in the church. And two years to make? Man it took really long time but it is worth to put an effort for sure. Nice work.
Awesome! Yeah, I started it two years ago. But it wasn't two full years of work, as there were other projects that stole my attention in the meantime. But that doesn't take away from the sheer amount of work that went into this. The video doesn't do it justice...imagine comping 27 vocal tracks, each 9 minutes long. XD
Jaron Davis , and Michael Graybill gets the final credit for that final mixing, right? He used his skills and knowledge for putting 9 separate recordings together, mixing them, balancing, and creating the environment to keep the dynamics intact, as well as to make it sound good no matter what device was being used. I know because I asked.
Yes, of course :) In the description, I say, "Special thanks to Michael Graybill for the breathtaking final mix of the song," and I mean every word of it. I can't say enough how fantastic the final mix was. We were all blown away! And despite the video, we were actually 27 different recordings, so Mike was key in balancing all of the voices. :)
Wow - goosebumps, really! Thank you!
Ahhh, yaay! Thanks so much for watching! :D
This rendition made me really focus on the separate beauty of the tenor and bass parts. Wow
Right? The Tenors/Bass and Alto/Soprano parts are a sheer joy to listen to in isolation. I'm glad you enjoyed it - thanks for stopping by! :D
Undeniable proof that beautiful music truly does fulfill the heart and soul.....
Thanks so much, Julie!

This absolutely lush and gorgeous -- wonderful job.
Thanks so much, Classical Music!
2 years later and facebook reminded me about this amazing song. Love it!
Thanks so much, TheMaster408 ;) 3 years later, and I finally responded. XD
Thanks for sharing this, Lydia, Lisa, Lloyd and Jaron.
Thanks for watching, Jeff Wilson; and for your inspiration to all of us!
Thank you, Doc!! And thank you for nurturing such a strong love of sacred choral music in all of your students. I miss GC Choir all the time, I'm so grateful I had the privilege of singing with you all.
+Lisa Gines Fantastic job in this song! I've been subscribed to Jaron for a few years now, and you just gained one from me also.
Lisa Gines is one of my favorite singers :) I love her voice :)
+Jaron Davis I do, too. I also subscribed to Lloyd, but have not found Lydia. If she is not on RUclips, please pass on my commendations for her part in this. Everyone did a wonderful job, and you have a masterpiece to,show for it.

Really awesome collaboration all of you. I almost can't believe this took two years that's a long time but you guys pulled it off great.
Thanks so much, Kratos! Altogether, it probably only took a month or so of work, but it was two years in the making. ;)
That...was...AMAZING!! I love it!!! Keep it up, Twin and Lydia, Lloyd, and Lisa!! You all sound so beautiful together!
Yaaaaay, it's my twin with a better name! Thanks so much for watching as always; I'm glad you enjoyed it!
AHHHHH we're singing this piece in my choir rn! I've always wanted to do it a small ensemble. Amazing job!
That's sooo cool! There's no time like the present. Thanks so much, Corey!
Excellent production! Sounds amazing!
Yay, thanks, Soundole! This one actually reached the ears of the original composer - which unleashed an amazing experience I still have yet to fully grasp. :)
maaaaan, that's perfect, please come to my church and sing like this!
I'm listening this for 5h time and wanna more. I feel so peacefull and calm, so good while listening to this. This is how angels sing in Heaven?
That would be awesome!
I hope this is how I'll be singing in heaven. :) Thanks so much!
So beautiful!! Thanks so much for sharing! I've been looking for a good arrangement by a small ensemble.
You're welcome; thanks so much for watching!

Wow...just wow. This is beautiful, I don't use that word lightly either.
Thanks so much, Jonathan! I'm honored.
Amazing! I like this so much :)
Thanks so much for watching!
Was already in love, and then everything from 7:05 on just blew my mind. BEAUTIFUL, ya'll!
Thanks so much! This took a lot of time, but it was well worth the effort. :) That's my favorite part as well. ;)
Absolutely beautiful!
Thank you, DJCandyManMike! I'm glad it's out after working so long on it!
+Jaron Davis Me too! I never heard this song until this rendition, and I wonder where it's been all my life.
Eric Whitacre's catalog is fully of beautiful music like this. :)
So good!
Yay! Thanks so much, Carmen & Lizzy!
dope!
Thanks, T LEAK!

@@barton0911 That's so awesome - thanks for sharing, Barton! :D
I feel like I stepped into a Christian Lord of the Rings. Excellent work guys and gals.
That is an interesting comparison, but it makes sense...there are parts of this that remind me of the score in FOTR. :)

Jaron Davis :-) Nice... and being a choral director, I was blown away by the quality of all of the voices! Gorgeous!
Thanks so much! :D
Lyrics please.
"Aleluja" 333 times ;)
Yes, what wBacz said. :) Alleluia x 1000, followed by Amen x 10.
i feel like the alto was drowned out most of the time
Lisa did a fantastic job on her Alto parts. :)
