Bruce took a lot of shit during his 12 yrs in KISS for his stage presence. Leave it to the quiet guy to put together a group that really hits the target for the hardcore KISS fans. KISS could never dream of playing some of this stuff ever again or ever period. These deep cuts are fantastic.
Bruce is such a stud on guitar. He was the best KISS guitarist. By a mile. I know Ace was there when it all started. And that's important. Obviously... he had a ton to do with their identity, and their initial success. No one can legitimately argue that. But Bruce was the best guitarist they ever had... it ain't even close.
Bruce is definitely a better guitarist - see for example Tommy’s constant botching of the Tears are Falling solo vs Bruce managing to play it reliably note-for-note as it was on the record. But on the other hand, Tommy is a better vocalist - Bruce never seems to sing backing vocals and the only leads I’ve heard seem quite average, while Tommy is a great backing vocalist and has some decent leads as well.
@@The_Original_Alex_Channel Singer is a better technical drummer no doubt he's damn good but he lacks the power and punch and feeling that was Eric Carr
@@careyodonald8900 true however the pack/ punch could be replicated by any drummer if you are going for it. Just mix the drums differently and use different drum heads. They are both great for different reasons
Love that Bruce is keeping all that great stuff alive from 1982-1996.

Agree. Todd Kerns is an incredible lead and backing vocalists. We see and hear why Slash chose him to be his bassists and vocals in his solo project.

He never was a 'performer ' per say..Gene and Paul accepted that.
