Ultra Pro tip: during holidays, if you see a special building decoration in the holiday deal...get it. It will not be available again. A fine example is holiday avatar frames. If you knotice there is a 2023 frame, a 2024 frame, and now a 2025 newyears frame. Another example is the 2 different christmas troop march skins, or 2 different Thanksgiving troop march skins. If you dont get the holiday exsclusive stuff, you truly, at this point in time not have another chance to get it again. The devs dont get money by not creating a urgency.
For my guys on S1809 in the alliance DEVILxDEMONS, I told my guys whoever is trying to buy some upgrades and spend a little bit, to focus on the new years event and focus on chief gear and or hero gear, hero gear is a daily upgrade as you have exploration, so priority should be chief gear as those events barely give any upgrades at all that drop those items. If you want to focus the island, because it is limited and you'd have to wait until next year to get them, then focus island, but it won't really make a difference like you said unless you're maxed, but some of my guys/girls just like the cosmetics which give some sort of boost, which isn't always a bad thing, but I mainly focus on what others cannot take away from m, for example troop speedups, my troops can be zeroed, but no one can take away my buildings in my city, my technology upgrades, hero gear or chief gear/charms, so focus on those first especially if they aren't big spenders, it will help them in the long run be more utilized
U can sell that building tbh I'm didn't remember it where it is.And if u Guy's really need decorations for building all of event's that came out just get it ,no one will stop u is you're choice is ok, it take so long for upgrade,its ok , I'm play this game, the only way u can get that green Crystal is waiting you're tree of life give you crystal,and 1 days u can only get 10k or below crystal,just noted it if u want decorations just take it, enjoy the game everyone

The decoration shards you can get it in the shop. One of the events sell them for about a thousand per one. It takes 10 to make one.
