My mindset is so limited. No one ever even told me growing up that entrepreneurship was an option. I've only known money as a limited, finite asset. Hoping to change this for my daughter ❤
Thanks so much! My husband is the engineer, my brother the financial advisor who both did my business plan and biz forecast. Answer: Don’t do it. You opened my eyes. Asian families are the same I guess.
hello steve, i am a third year student in canada having worked a few finance internships before, and was born and raised in an asian family too. my plan now is to finish my bachelor degree while building up side income to one day replace my main job. would you mind sharing how much you made as an engineer per month? how many hours per day? btw is bachelor your highest education? i remember in previous videos you mentioned wanting to make more money and devote more time to your family. and im curious as to how that job compared to your business (when starting up). thank you edit: its weirdly specific but really, my true motivation for making money is buying a Volvo XC90 and go skiing with full freedom and without working in a 40hour/week job
Great video Steve!, I'm curious i think you said in your early days of online selling that eBay caught on to you advertising your store to your eBay customers!?, how would they ever find out?, didn't you just include a thank you note and website address in your packaging or did you get caught in an online correspondence with one of your customers??.... The reason I'm asking is because i was thinking of leaving a thank you note and brochure of my online store with my eBay customers
I'm 30 currently trying to find my passion. I currently only have a day job with a very big savings but I know I have so much more to offer but idk where to start. I'm trying
Tbh almost every rich person like yourself doesn't want others "beneath" them to get rich as well. People want to see you do well but nor better than them
That’s bullshit. Im rich, started poor. I love to see people make a come up in life. If they pass me up-happy days for them. It’s not a contest. I want to see everyone prosper

I watch content like this to learn. 90% of is basic biz stuff I’m well versed in, there are nuggets of information that are of value to me. I’m 56 years old. I’ve never had a job, been in all sorts of businesses.

I believe you are completely right, I just want to add that ‘saying NO to a standard job can be a hard step’ ✌️
Thank you, Steve. I wish you and your family continued success. There is abundance for all in this world. Take action and make it happen.
Best video I’ve ever seen on RUclips

I needed this. Thanks,
I was a software engineer so I'm used to just giving it a whirl and see what happens! :P
I got rid of those friends two years ago. I instantly felt a weight lift off my shoulders.
That Ecommerce organization doesn’t seem to accept my geo location? I live in Missouri

The thank you note is pretty safe. I tried to steer them (very subtly) to our website via email.
Yes I guess it was almost like an online paper trail that eBay somehow found out about, thank you very much Steve for responding to my question
Talk about dtf transfers
I'm afraid to start as I'm not prepared to sacrifice my comfort for the hustle of starting a business...

6 years is pretty quick to make it to a million. I’ve been working for 32 years and have nowhere near that amount.

Wow, I'm trying hard to be just like you when I'm 56
Never do business with your partner because if divorce happens you will lose your livelihood income.
It's just hard to find something to sell. Were you passionate about handkercheifs or did you just know there was a good opportunity to make money?
Thank you 🙂
