Golf channels have become so over-saturated on RUclips that I found myself watching way less. There's about 5 RUclips golf channels that I watch on a regular basis and the rest get ignored. I've also found myself not watching long form videos unless there's a special guest (like Peter Finch and Lee Westwood which was one of the best videos of the year.)
I watch a lot more RUclips golf than most people. I wish success to everyone, but I am at the point where there is only so much time. It's like having 14 clubs in the bag. If I want a new club in, I have to take one out. So in that sense, a rising tide sinks some of my boats.
Big Wedge seems to just be doing the same thing as most of the other YT golf groups. Leveraging some of the popularity from their other channels and attaching it to golf. Nothing new, nothing earth shattering...just another channel, more golf content.
Do Europeans really care than much about Olympic golf? NOBODY cares in the U.S. The discussion about an Olympic gold or 2nd Major was insane on the latest pod.

Just looking at the big wedge channel, it won't go far enough to break huge bounds. The look is do youtubey and just annoying to me. Combining Among Us and golf is just not working lol. So like Guy said, I hate it and never will watch it. Lol

I couldn’t disagree more about the DP World tour take.. i live on the East cost of the US and waking up in the morning being able to watch most of the rounds on the tour has made me a bigger fan of the European players. I’ve watch Rai, Pavon, Bob and others for a couple years now.. Yes it is now sort of a feeder tour but I think more Americans are watching them than in the past years which I would hope benefits the tour.

I don't think he will consistently feature in the 1-10 in the owgr for the next 15 years but he will get inside it some years and his raw grit and ability will get him a few majors.
i watched the seb and rick video recently on seb's channel and i had to fastforward sebs narration. think he talks so much that i feel winded just from watching him...😅
Bob seems a little bit different to me great golfer but I believe he lets too many little things bother him like the drone during the match in Canada I mean it's a drone it's just videoing you for the world to watch the match and he was pretty put off by that I find that very bizarre

I am starting to think being this far ahead with content might be great for the team and workflow but may affect the videos and how up to date and with the ever adapting landscape of youtube golf they are. Just my opinion but could be wrong

They are some of the largest RUclipsrs and are the biggest UK RUclipsr group. Just changing over to golf they will get to 1 million subscribers easily. So them taking over is a real possibility.
I might sound a bit conservative and boring, but I see an issue with all these new young golf channels. I live in the south of Portugal (Algarve), a quite touristic golfing area. We've seen this year a massive increase of young golfer coming. At this point you think it is a good thing for the sport. BUT, they have absolutly no respect for the course and the game itself. Group of 6, playing triple bogey on every hole, taking so much time on the greens, not racking the bunkers, pitch marks all over the greens, very loud music, beer cans on the fairway.... I can not say that it is youtube's fault, but... Just by the way they look, you can make the link. I might be getting old, but I am tired of spending 6 hours on the course, repairing others ball marks, and playing with ridiculous music around. Yesterday, it was at least 60% of the tee times booked.
