Just to get all them doors opening by one servo is an achievement in it's own right as far as i'm concerned,that alone must of taken some working out,wishing Joel the best of luck getting the F-35 flight worthy into the transition of both flight configurations. Great work! Transitioning is really difficult no mater what kind of transition you're doing! Keep at it, and when you defeat F-35B's VTOL, you can revisit the Harrier someday with extra knowledge and make that one like a piece of cake next time, nothing's gonna keep you down!
the most intresting rc video i ever saw the technical and flight physics of this project cant be underestimated it took the millitery billions of money to achieve this vtol are great fun take lots of practice to master easy once you work out that hieght is required going from hover to flight vice versa they drop if you hover and go to flight theres no airflow or lift on the wings need to get airspeed and thrust going, which means the delay so hieght is essential lots full throttle at precise timing or simple they stall and drop like a stone
It's amazing how recognisable the way the RC jet moves is. Uncannily similar the the real thing.. the Harrier that is. Haven't seen nearly enough of the F35 in VSTOL.
@@Joelmelanie When transitioning get some forward momentum and if you can, have the servo's vectoring the actual air slowly raise allowing time for the plane to gain speed. Don't have them go up straight away or you want have enough momentum to get the plane flying. Hope this helps if you haven't done it already ;p

Ever thought of some sort of tether or suspension system for testing? That way if things get out of hand you don't lose the air frame and propulsion system.
