Yo this is the rotation that might pull me away from my newfound Viper love. I loved the reverse drift of 2.42 in Abyssos and that is where I really started to get my raiding chops, and this rotation is just hyping me up for some more tanking. Just like in the last comment, loving the new changes to the screen with the chat on the left with the casts.
I've been told that 2.4 gnb is much more forgiving than 2.5 I've played before (and had some troubles with always pressing buttons in same order). I have a little more rough gameplay style, pressing buttons fast, kinda like viper does. Will 2.4 be the right choise for me? Or should I just try it out and decide for myself?
I'd definitely try it out but I can say from experience that I really enjoy going a bit faster and 2.4 works well for me! Yeah, your GCDs and bursts won't always look EXACTLY the same but that's okay! It allows for some gameplay changes and gets a 9th gcd in No Mercy and I love that personally! Thanks for asking for the advice! Try 2.4 out! You can also go 2.41, 42, or 43 for the same rotations with different ogcd displacements/disengagements for uptime!
Where would be a good place for shifting sonic breaks to maximizing dot ticks in the rotation, I may be overthinking it because I assume you finish the final burst phase or fight ends but I seem to drift every out of no mercy
Depends on how long until boss dies. Sometimes 1st gcd the sonic on your last window, or after DD. Kinda all depends! Def don't think too hard on it though the gain will be minimal
So long story short, GNB became much more flexible and as long as you're getting in the GCDs you need into No Mercy and prioritizing skills under optimal kill time, there's no wrong "order".
You considering this to be a change made for bad players says everything I need to know about you, though I appreciate you coming in and sharing your own feedback! 😎 Curiously, I'm wondering what about this you think is a negative change for skilled players?
Yep! I recorded this while livestreaming and chat wanted to hear explanations so I started explaining. Thanks for letting people know the explanations are there o/ If you don't want 'em you can mute while watching, and thanks for checking stuff out! Hope new GNB has been as pleasant for you as it has been for me :D
This style is very good I like this much better than the past where you just show the rotation. Explaining as things are happening is awesome 😎
Oh yeah I am actually working on it and it is a great change!! You are amazing as always.
Aww thank you!!
@@RinKarigani You are very welcome. I will be using that rotation till next update.

3 carts were a mistake
does 2.45 still want to alternate between the 8 and 9 gcd no mercies ?
Yep! Play that basically the same way you did before and you're gucci

@@RinKarigani I really like the idea of flexible gameplay since they reduced double down cost to 1 cartridge now. Gotta try that out, thanks!
@@Dr4gonSt4lkerTrash players love this change.
You're so weirdge
@@qwerty-dm8gr then let me be trash player
Love the explanation of what is going on during the rotation! what would you recommend between 2.4 or 2.5 as a gnb decent but not very experienced?
Honestly? 2.5 if you want something that looks very rigid, I enjoy 2.4 myself. It makes sense and I enjoy having options to fix rotational mistakes!

Yep pretty much, just 2.5 became more "don't go into 3 carts" 2.4 is completely daijokay
Yes sirrr. 2.40 feels really good now. Less restriction and more variance 🙏
How did you get 3 buttons for gnashing fang combo ? it doesnt looks like a macro :oo
Og hotbar from Shadowbringers!
@@RinKarigani but how can i get it myself :oo
Oh hm... You might be able to assign it manually let me check for you!
So I tried using /hotbar assignment but that didn't work ; ; It may not be available
@@RinKariganido you think there is a mod or something that lets you do that because that would feel really nice
Gnb changes for bad players make it feel so much worse for people who played the job properly.

The Gunbreaker Master has spoken and the people must listen!
I'm still learning myself!
Says he's going to stop talking then keeps talking.
