his comment about real estate is very true, everyone says your PLOT got the doubled the price, but when you try to sell it, no one comes forward when you really need the money, this is from my personal experience, i got 110% appreciation on my PLOT, but i am planning to sell now, its been months, i am waiting for the buyer, still not sold. Where as mutual funds has high liquidity and also, you can withdraw partially. I realized this, in future, i only with Mutual Funds.
