In 2012 I wrote this back and forth style song #RidingWithTheDevil for me and DMX while I was incarcerated in S.C.I Huntingdon. It was inspired by Damien. I would talk to my manager #AntonioSimmons ( aka #BIGTONE ) @doggmen everyday and ask him did he let X hear the song yet. He told me X said, "all you need to do...is get home...and it's on." You can't imagine how much motivation that gave me to write and write and write, until I couldn't write anymore. ( I'm still writing til this day ) Anyway, I came home in June of 2017 and #BIGTONE was working on his movie wit #DMX called Doggmen. I was on a nutt ass 5 o'clock curfew for the first month or so, so it was hard to get into the studio like I wanted. Tone had told me once my curfew was lifted we should have time to knock the song out. Well... it never happened. Not because of Bigtone or DMX or myself to say, but just because we ( as people ) take so many things for granted that we put stuff off... and here it is 2021, and now DMX isn't here anymore. Yes! I would have loved to record this track with him. Very much. Today my good friend @jonglass_ mentioned this song, and said he wish that I would have been able to do it with X, and after we got off the phone, I called my engineer and said "I need to get in the stu."
