So how " righteous" do you have to be to remain saved? If we could be righteous, why did Jesus have to die to give us his righteousness? Can you show me a passage that says you can lose your salvation ? Clearly states that? Just Like Ephesians 2 v 8-9 says For by GRACED are ye SAVED through FAITH and that not of yourselves, it is the GIFT of God , not WORKS lest ANY MAN can boast. Show me a clear verse that actually says you lose your salvation, not one we "think" that is what it is talking about. Interested to hear what you produce. God bless

Faith isn't just an idea or a mental assent. It is, as Donald Williams describes it, a "trust that commits."

      On Falling Away:
      Matthew 24:10
At that time many will fall away and will betray one another and hate one another.
      Hebrews 3:12
Take care, brethren, that there not be in any one of you an evil, unbelieving heart that falls away from the living God.
      Hebrews 6:6
and then have fallen away, it is impossible to renew them again to repentance, since they again crucify to themselves the Son of God and put Him to open shame.
      2 Peter 3:17
You therefore, beloved, knowing this beforehand, be on your guard so that you are not carried away by the error of unprincipled men and fall from your own steadfastness,
Just a few. That's an awful lot of words of warnings if it's impossible to fall away
      On Righteousness and Salvation
      1 Corinthians 6:9-10
Or do you not know that the unrighteous will not inherit the kingdom of God? Do not be deceived: neither the sexually immoral, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor men who practice homosexuality, nor thieves, nor the greedy, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor swindlers will inherit the kingdom of God.
      Galatians 5:19-21
Now the works of the flesh are evident: sexual immorality, impurity, sensuality, idolatry, sorcery, enmity, strife, jealousy, fits of anger, rivalries, dissensions, divisions, envy, drunkenness, orgies, and things like these. I warn you, as I warned you before, that those who do such things will not inherit the kingdom of God.
      Revelation 21:8
But as for the cowardly, the faithless, the detestable, as for murderers, the sexually immoral, sorcerers, idolaters, and all liars, their portion will be in the lake that burns with fire and sulfur, which is the second death.”
      Revelation 21:27
But nothing unclean will ever enter it, nor anyone who does what is detestable or false, but only those who are written in the Lamb's book of life.
      Ephesians 5:5
For you may be sure of this, that everyone who is sexually immoral or impure, or who is covetous (that is, an idolater), has no inheritance in the kingdom of Christ and God.
