Dude! I still love my job 35 years after my first day. Always changing. I work with my hands. However I make my money playing the market. If it wasn't for a FA that didn't listen to me in 2001. I would be over a million in my retirement fund. High 6 figures is current. My long term holds are Canadian banks (BMO, TD) on the DRIP. ENB, EIF, SPY, META, APPL, SOFI, PLTR. (last two are recent) Currently collecting $40K a year in dividends alone.

On 13th minute you explaine about call option that gives you a right to buy 100 shares of PayPal thatexpires on January 2026.
Is other words a buyer pays premium that it is actually the price to gain profits if the option is in the money right?
Do I understand rights, that 75$ is around break even price that striking the option on any price about 75$ will gives a profit, right?
Another thing, as I buy, but doesn't write an options, I am risking the premium of 1500 only, right?
Do you use collars, put insurance or CCs on these long stock holdings? Or do you keep this side separate from the options trading strategies?
I keep it separate but at times use puts/collars.
With around $120K invested in TSLA 2023, I need suggestions for additional stocks to spread across the market. I'm looking to make up a well-rounded $500k portfolio that balances risk aversion and fetches returns steadily notwithstanding inflation this year.
I'd strongly recommend Palantir given their pre-S&P500 status, that would give you a quality stock in AI. I'd also strongly recommend any other stocks that are being discussed as likely to be included this year given their impressive growth, such as ELF. This would give you a great position in the beauty market, which is booming in newer growth markets globally. Consider a longer-term position in a reliable 'customer spending' stock such as Visa or MasterCard due to their stability, scale and steady, reliable growth.
Palantir (pre-inclusion), ELF (pre-inclusion), Visa/MasterCard (reliable and steady growth), ASML (due to grow significantly this year), and Eli Lilly seems to be doing very well in the pharma sector
The issue is most people have the “I want to do it myself mentality” but not equipped for a crash. Ideally, advisors are perfect reps for investing jobs and at first-hand experience, my portfolio has yielded over 300%, summing up nearly $1m, since covid outbreak to date.

Companies are audited, though, to ensure the accuracy of their financial reports. Still, it's always good to keep a critical eye and do thorough research before making any trading decisions.
