This show will always have a very special spot in my heart. It's because of “I'm in the Band” that I decided to become a musician and start listening to rock. Besides,it was pretty funny and had an awesome soundtrack. It's so bad that it was cancelled too soon. This is definitely one of my favorite Disney Channel/Disney XD's series.

I think they are parodies of Queen members: Darek is the charming lead singer whose surname is a planet, Tripp is the lead guitarist who is also the kindest and most mature member, Ash is funny and joyful drummer who is considered as the dumbest of the group, Their theme song Weasel Rock You is obviously a reference to Queen song We Will Rock You. I couldn't fit Burger in Queen, but others fit perfectly.

I remember hearing this when I was in about 1st grade or so. I'm 16 now. I always loved how this song had kind of an 80s rock vibe going for it. I've always loved classic rock.
I'm watching this in 2021... I was 7 or 8 years old when I first watched this show. I had known about the band Aerosmith, and right away I thought Derek looked like Steven Tyler. Derek Jupiter became my inspiration, and I really wanted to be a rock singer. After the first episode, I would always be singing Iron Weasel songs around the house. I never missed an episode of I'm In The Band when they played on Disney XD. This show got me into not only music but good rock music. I took an interest in guitar around the time I was 10, and my grandfather gave me a guitar when I was 12. I'm 20 now, still have the same taste in music as I did 9 years ago, I still play guitar and other instruments too. I'm even writing fanfiction about Iron Weasel. I can remember when I watched The Wizards Of Waverly Place movie, Teen Beach Movie, and Avilon Hight all on Disney. - I recognized Steve Valentine right away! I really miss this show.
I'm pretty sure this show got me into punk, then eventually, metal, and is also the reason I live the sound of distorted guitars, and is the reason why I picked up the guitar. I loved this show so much, so sad it's gone.
