She can't be feeling uncomfortable with Raga at this level of performance..obviously she is well versed with Indian classical music and so is Anushka. Her father was legendary.
Actually it was her first time playing indian music 😂 she's a very nice interpreter (p.kopatchinskaja)
Tabla was playing by "Tanmoy Bose" and he is also an amazing musician 🙂

Anushka mentioned that this 'raaga piloo' was created by her father to be played as a duet between Hindustani and Western classical instruments. So as of any duets, it has each individual, simultaneous and complementary parts composed for both instruments involved (Sitar and Violin). When compositions are written for an instrument it should be possible to be played by the properly trained/accomplished musicians, classical or not. Both were excellent in execution of the composition and extra admiration for the violinist to beautifully play a song way out of her regular genre.
It feels me like different musical instruments are talking to each others about peace, harmony and love😇❤️

Intricate, fast-paced notes are generally easier to play on the sitar, but for Patricia to replicate and follow Anoushka on the violin with the same speed is truly a sign of greatness. I could only imagine how the bow movements were taxing on her arm. Very grateful I found her through Anoushka
