      @@Splitlickity Yeah. You can see the moment when Fabi spends a few seconds more calculating in depth detecting something went wrong for the IM and the very same move, the eval bar had gone down.Speed chess is not even Fabi's forte, but still playing at this time odds speak volumes of his actual strength.

    At 5:50, why didn't fabi play Be2, attacking the queen?
    And at 6:15, would best move for white be Re2?

    • @CrazyLinguiniLegs
      @CrazyLinguiniLegs Год назад +1

      At 5:50 if black Be2, white sidesteps that attack with Qe1. Fabi did the best move (according to computer analysis) with Bh6.
      At 6:15 white Re2 would be a blunder. Black bishop takes the white queen. If white rook then takes black queen, black rook takes white rook. So white ends up trading a queen and a rook for just a queen.

    All just to beat Robert...
    But little did Fabi knew that behind Robert there was an army of extraordinary chess masters too including a legion led by agadmator, levy, eric, vidith, sagar, nelson, anna, nemo, botez sisters, alessia, alina.
