Some of these Snoop, Nate Dogg, Warren G tracks are a beautiful prime example of the beats in the G FUNK ERA! Some of the best West Coast beats ever!
+Jaime Terreforte II I SWEAR MY DUDE
Them shits still tight!..naver gets old
I'd drink a steady diet of 7 St Ides a day if it meant Hip Hop would go back to sounding like this.... Shit the production on the Wu snippet is better than 70% of shit today
I’d drink a steady 7 day diet of St. Ides if I could find it on a regular basis.👀
snoop and Warren g had the coolest tracks
JBMSTRIKER71 word
facts
JBMSTRIKER71 the best one is Biggie, then Snoop, then ,Nate Dogg
Jennie RedRose nah
Nate and Warren G ripped this up
+850iStyle They all ripped it up
Wu-Tang had the best flow. West Coast G-Funk tore it up though
The 90's came and went toooo fast. A nigga getn old. LOL!!!
The Wu Tang joint is sick, I listen to that over and over. I wish they would make a full length track with that beat.
I think Meth did the beat.
They need to make full length versions of every song on here! Guaranteed certified platinum plus!
25 years later this tape is STILL jammin! #TilThisDay3Xs
WoW! I had this tape and the one that just had the Ice Cube promos on it. They gave them away at Dr. J's, a convenient store back home in San Diego. I still wish I had these. The 90s was the truth.
Those joints was cold back in the day. Nas and AZ had a fly one together too!
Same here!
These were the days.
Whoa. I still have that tape too!!!
Smh. LoL.
I have this tape right now. I love this. What a classic of all of their styles. Thanks for posting this. I love it! Until...
If only all commercials were this good
These commercials were great. It sucks they were selling malt liquor to folks in the 'hood...but musically, I still love 'em!
I remember hearing the wu tang song on raekwon Cuban linx lp on a skit as a kid n I was mad hype when I found this mystery song use to wreck my brain 😂😂
DothollaMusic23 yep it came on before the song "Spot Rusherz".
@@PharoahsKingdom It feel hot at night and shit!
Yeah, I had this tape in the lil black cover with the St. Ides logo on the front of it I think, the St. Ide's truck was makin' a delivery at the liquor store and saw me and my homeboys kickin' it and he passed out the tapes to us.
This is real hip hop at its finest! I remeber when these commercial would come on 92.3 The Beat out here in L.A back in '94..... GOOD TIMES!! Would be trying to record them on a tape when I was at home when they would come on. I miss REAL HIP HOP
I'm going to go ahead and say that this whole tape is flame. Found it like 8 years ago and still come back to it. I remember when a few friends and I first tried St. Ides around that time. dope memories, can't find St. Ides anywhere anymore!
TheILLTechnics Found a bottle in New York back in 2009.

Was only bout a year old when this came out but I love this. Wu is my fav
Moses S Sorry
I remember these commercials coming on the radio late at night lol. The only one this tape is missing is the Biggie one over the “New York New York” beat
“I’m smooth and subtle something like a St. Ides” sounds way cooler when snoop says it vs how it reads off my online dating profile
The beat for Warren G's commercial was always a illest on the tape...I had this tape when I was middle school.
the famous st. ides tape funny thing about these tapes is my pops got ahold of a full case of these 25 tapes use to bump them crazy back in the day, now i have the case with 15 tapes left. Im going to have to market these baby's im prolly the only one with a case of these wit covers and still got the plastic wrap on the last 15
Great memories during this era! Thanks for the post!!!!
Damn I remember the summer of '94 i was getting ready to go in to the 10th grade. Couldn't find this tape anywhere. Had to get a dub from my homeboy. Damn I miss them days. kids these days just don't know
I love the whole tape! But Wu-Tang murdered it! (my opinion!)
ERIC EPPS weak ass opinion
When you don't live in the US you ask yourself what that crazy joint in the intro part of Spot Rusherz is. And then you wish it was a whole song.
I'm going back to the old days of Hip Hop almost every day when I'm in my car.
Im from Michigan, born and raised, but I cant front....the west coast G-Funk era was the dopest in rap hands down. Those laid back ass flows over those gangsta ass, ride-to track...ahhh, the good old days! RIP "real" rap
cause I don't like to dream about gettin paid $$
The Warren G song to St. Ides had a video commercial to it, but i'm thinking it would be difficult to find it online.
Nate Dogg was awesome simple hook
I remember hearing this shit and wanting to to try a st ides so bad but i wasnt old enuff... Classic
Anybody notice how a big part of Snoop's verse was also on the song "21 Jump Street" from Murder Was the Case soundtrack?
Dang. I remember a few of these commercials. Havent heard these tracks since mid 90s

Dope describes my rhymes, making all you emcees cold drop like dimes. You know MCSC is back again, and battling me on the microphone is like committing a sin.
