I feel depressed and almost dead in terms of creativity. I seem to have lost my own motivation to create on my own. I am in my 70s and a newbie to junk journaling and how can I ever have the time to develop the imagination and creativity that you have shown with this journal. This is the kind of journal I want to create…you touch my heart with what you have done. Thank you. ❤❤❤
Please don’t feel depressed. It makes me feel sad when I know you can make a journal. Don’t start with a large journal as shown here, but go smaller. This is how I started and I’m not young anymore. Take inspiration from others on RUclips but make their ideas your own. Best wishes! 😘
😔😔Ahh this makes me feel so sad, here's what I have to say in response. I think it's great that you have taken to junk journals! Besides creating some there's a host of other benefits. It's relaxing, it's self expression and you get to make something special and one of a kind! And don't worry about not having the time to "develop" - your special spark is already there, inside of you! So grab some paper and scissors and wake it up! Create from what is within you!! I truly appreciate the kind words and I hope you will take heed of mine and throw caution to the wind - and create! ❤️ Have fun dear friend!
I don’t know if this is where I respond to those who responded to my comment but here goes…@PinkOddBird, @jengriffiths, having reread my comment it sounds a little morose if you don’t know me so I apologize! I love your responses, it is good advice, and my sadness comes and goes, it is here and gone fleetingly as I sometimes reflect upon my mortality. At my age that is normal. Because I was a very creative younger person and a hard life got in the way, I also sometimes reflect on the “could have been” and “might have been “ moments of my life. I have just discovered junk journaling and it brings up so much for me, I have discovered it is something I wish I had throughout my life. I have a list of about 20 different themed journals I want to make and of course the list keeps growing as I watch more videos. So all you lovely people keep creating and keep inspiring others with your work. You will find in later years that you will be so glad and grateful that you did. And I will keep watching, and encouraging others the best I can, and gathering materials to make my own journals. One day I will have a completed journal to share. ❤️❤️❤️

Wowee this is journal is incredible. With the cover, what did you use to make this cover so stiff and sturdy. I have trouble with my journals not being strong enough to handle so many signatures. Love this journal so much, you are very talented.
