If you want to discuss "I was unwantedly fed 100% NITROGEN beyond total deprivation of oxygen & the affects YOU experienced, THEN there is a discussion to be had. Absent that, it's just absence of mind while in full cognizance while having a plentiful supply of oxygen to that single brain cell that's left.

Part of my advanced SCUBA certification was to hyperventilate for one minute then hold my breath. Hyperventilating lowers CO2 so I felt no signs of the ‘need to breathe’ we’ve all experienced. Everyone in the class passed out within a minute.

It may seem unlikely but I have experienced hypoxia at 7,500 the biggest and most noticeable affect was the inability to focus in cruise

@Lmao Lol Its physically impossible to pass out at 2000ft... I would say there is only 1 or 2% less oxygeon. At 6000 feet its 5-10%

No because they're still exhaling carbon dioxide. It's not a lack of oxygen that causes air hunger, it's a buildup of carbon dioxide in the blood.
