@@SodbusterLiving Thanks Challice! I'm thinking the workbook may be useful for our portfolio reviews to meet our state guidelines! Otherwise, it does seem unnecessary.
I would say that you could start with Penny Candy in upper Middle School and continue on til you finish the series in Highschool. But it really depends on the child.
Growing up we didn't have ANY of the workbooks. I had to write a "what I learned" after each section of chapters. I retained a lot that way. This time I wanted to see what one workbook was like and so I purchased it. I like it in the sense that a) my daughter is in highschool and its an easy record for be and b) with all that I need to do, I don't have to do this. But I will not be purchasing workbooks for all of them. This was a new book to me, and I saw the workbook. But honestly, I'll just go back to what I grew up with.
That makes sense. We can try the writing what they learned first. We have the Uncle Eric books but have been waiting until this year when my boys were 13 & 15. This should help us with understanding and discussion.
As a teacher, I love how personalized homeschooling can be, but I just wonder if one ordinary person can teach a child everything they need to know in order to be a functional adult. Schooling is definitely a team effort. Mommy just can't do it all.
You don't have to do everything. There are co-ops, outschool online, online programs, library groups, etc. Homeschool doesn't mean you have to sit in the house and mom does it all.
You are incorrect as homeschool graduates prove again and again. Teaching isn't that hard. It seems that classroom management is the hard part of teaching other people's children. Interesting that you are literally not commenting on the content of the video ... just snark on homeschool moms ... smh
@@Hai-xg6uy Teaching is easy as hell, but we only teach one subject at a time. I teach English, and that's it. No way I could teach subjects like Calculus that I can't even do myself. Can you?
Lovely review. Thank you for this wonderful insight.
Thank you! I haven't heard of this curriculum. I will check out the link and hopefully find the workbook.
I responded to Michelle above with a very basic thought about the workbooks.

I've never heard of this ... very interesting
And that is why I like sharing these! I hope they are helpful reviews for others.
Man, I haven't seen these in 15+ years!
Thst was about the time I was graduating! ;)
I’m just interested in financial literacy & not the entire set. Any sellers?
Check on Amazon.
What grade level would this be best for?

Thank you
Do you use the workbooks for each book?
