Perhaps they may make an E-Performance version at some point? The V8 Hybrid powertrain is making its way to other AMG models after the GT63S, I don't see why they wouldn't bring it to the E class.

You would be correct. The new ones have a petrol particulate filter for emissions and it mutes the sound quite a bit. Nothing Mercedes can do about it unfortunately
It's the lack of displacement that causes your disappointment. The 4.0L just doesn't move enough volume of gasses to sound anywhere near as mean as the 5.5L.
There's no such thing as an S63S. Never was, never will be. They stopped making S63 Coupes and Cabriolets and I'm pretty sure they're done with S63 and S65 sedans as well now.

Still the dashboard of the E class looks better than the C class imo the E looks eleganter and has physical buttons while the C is just a Tesla screen and that’s it

No doubt though they defo should have more physical buttons. I.e. the touch buttons for the seat adjustments is just unnecessary
