Italy signed a friendship treaty with Lybia (Berlusconi prime minister) and shortly afterwards participated in the bombing of that country. So much for bilateral friendship agreements.

I don't know why so-called experts keep repeating that "there's no way the US can just withdraw from Ukraine". Hell that's what we do and then we just quit talking about it, like it never happened. Ritter and MacGregor know that very well. The late Daniel Elsberg who was a US nuclear war planner stated that the US nuclear doctrine included attacking China with nuclear weapons if a nuclear war broke out between the US and USSR (at that time) as the US didn’t want to leave a potential super power intact. Also, Elsberg didn’t think a limited nuclear war was possible because of the “decapitation”strategy (destroying the enemies nuclear capability) employed by both the US and Russia.
