    Made sense to me , maybe some people would benefit from your occasional step through to the piano in the other room. The intervals maybe more visual on the piano .
    Great vids , I can hardly keep up with practicing the scales before next lesson pops up .
    Thank you so much for your passion and encouragement …

    Another good vid! I spent a few months trying to learn and understand how it worked at least at a basic level, and am glad I did, but I guess I never realized the weird 'mathematical' visual you present at 11:37 minutes in. I've always just used the Father Christmas Gave Dad An Electric Blanket mnemonic, but your way is helpful! Also perhaps a suggestion for a future video...you touch on this at the end, but where you mention if you see no sharp and flats one might think they key is C, but it might be A minor -- maybe a video on some ways to figure out what key a song is in (versus key signature). Thank you!

    Hi Lynden, Circle of fifth is my best friend when playing with a band and voice. I especially love what you said - "There are no difficult scales, theres only unfamiliar ones". Thanks for your nuggets of wisdom!

    Why you didn't say anything about the C# which contains all the 7 sharps, and Cb which contains all the 7 flats?

    Since the harmonic relationships in the songs are more often fourths, doesn't it make more sense to practice on the circle of fourths rather than that of fifths? I would like a video (if you haven't already done so) on how to do harmonic analysis of a song. There are many out there but I'm sure you could explain it better 😀

    • @lyndenblades
      @lyndenblades  2 месяца назад +1

      I think practicing the cycle in both directions is good 👍
