The saddest revelation of this episode is that Youkai that die with regrets are cursed to fall into the void, but from my understanding if they had no regrets to begin with they'd have never become Youkai themselves. I'll be the first to admit I wasn't super fond of Aira but you have to really think about this. Acrobatic Silkie sacrificed herself for her, but it she also only died because of her. Even though Aira seemingly also so her backstory for her to immediately forgive and embrace a Youkai speaks volumes to her true character. Whatever feelings that might've wound around her heart like spiky brambles she was able to put aside to help close the wound of Acrobatic Silkie and allow her to reach the afterlife and see her daughter again. Dude Aira is up there with Ken and Momo after this one...
