Wow! This is very interesting, I've always wondered what's what could be the difference between a nursing school student and the one that studied nursing in the uni, Thanks for the teaching 👍
Ma please I have try but no proof I am tire ma please help me I am still going to lesson is they no other way please help me but I am done with secondary school I have written my wace and I don't know what to do please ma help me thanks
Thanks for watching. The much I know is only Registered Nurses are offered direct entry to study Nurses I would rather you check the university in your mind, to know what they offer.
Thanks ma’am for this video❤️,it was really useful and thanks for coming by when i needed this information the most But ma’am can u recommend schools of nursing in Nigeria or in Lagos precisely
thanks for watching, Most state in Nigeria, have school of Nursing, you can register in any of them so far the school is accredited. All Nursing students write the same final qualifying exam. . Or better go through the university via JAMB.
I’m a nurse in America and I’m planning on relocating to Nigeria, my biggest scare is the difference in pay, I understand the standard of living is different though. My question is how much is the average pay, (so far I only have a year experience), Does anyone have any guide as to how to get a good paying nursing job anywhere in Nigeria?
Glad you stopped over. As for the guide, may be I will do a video to stress more on that, but here in Nigeria, you can get paid well if you work in Companies, which are location dependent. More states in Nigeria pay more to Nurses where as others don't. It is also related to your speciality, and certificates. Those working in Federal and state Government hospitals have their general salary schemes. Where as private hospitals pays defer.
Thank you so much ma... But l have a question.. which one is better is it school of nursing or university in terms of experience and also can l go for school of nursing then do bsc for 2years.. please ma Thank you
I did suggest you go through the university, if you follow your lectures, practicals and don't miss your hospital and community postings while in school, you will gain enough experience. And your experience is also added to, when you start working after school. But in a case where you don't get the university (like Jamb wahala), apply to Nursing School. And yes, after Nursing School you can upgrade to university. Some schools in Nigeria will give you four years. But outside Nigeria like in UK you will get your degree in less than a year. In other countries it may be two years or more. In addition to the above, when you apply, apply to a Nursing School and also get your Jamb form. Write the two, if you get both go to university.
Yes. However, you need to sit for Nigeria Nursing council examination designed for foreign trained Nurses. On passing the exam, you will be issued a Nigerian Nursing license to practice as a Nurse.
@@AmaraUzodigwe Ok and if i pass, will i be given something like a working visa so as to have benefits like a nigerian citizen, and where can i apply for the exam, last but not least what's the average pay of a BScN nurse, i hold a bachelor's degree. Thanks for responding.
@@John-kz6mr the payment for each qualifications differs and are negotiable among hospitals (private and state owned ones) but relatively same for federal government owned hospitals.
