In today's video i have told you how you guys can fix the lag and increase it's speed after doing some little changes into the system or by just running some commands.
SEE COMMAND FOR COMMANDS
Swap memory -- swap memory is a space on the hard disk that is used as virtual memory when the physical memory (RAM) is full. When the system needs more memory resources and there is not enough physical memory available, the operating system will transfer some data from the RAM to the swap space on the hard disk. This frees up physical memory for other processes to use.
Commands used in this video are:-
For clearning the cache-
apt clean
apt-get clean
apt-get autoclean
apt autoclean
For checking the swap-
If you have more ram keep swap very low probably 5
if you have less ram keep swap high aroung 60 or higher
cat /proc/sys/vm/swappiness - for seeing the swap ness
if you don't have the swapness show there do this -
sudo gedit /etc/sysctl.conf --edit this and add a line
vm.swappiness=value

Mine is EXTREMELY laggy-- but I think part of mine is the service-- my download speed here is 4 meg on a GOOD day...

You know it depends so if you have a decent ram and the swapness level is also fine and after that the computer is still lagging it could be because of the power profile which is introduced in the latest version of the kali linux or kde plasma

@@NethaxStark It's ONLY been just lately though--- and i think it's a recent upgrade-- because every distro I try (I have several on ventoy) they're ALL that way.. EXCEPT for CACHY- which for some reason is BLINDING fast... but I can't use it- other stuff won't work for me.
