  • A vintage B-29 Superfortress bomber flies by before landing Monday at TSTC Waco Airport, where three pilots practiced takeoffs and landings.
The plane, known as Fifi, is based in Dallas and tours with the Commemorative Air Force.
Boeing produced B-29s in the mid-1940s, one of the few planes at the time with a pressurized crew cabin, and the military used them in World War II and the Korean War.

When you hear that, you immediately start looking around to see where and what it is.
    Quite the sight.

"A splendid plane". - As related by a survivor of the massive B-29 raids over Japan.
