FYI: In the link provided only show K&N regular oil filter. Reason is that they sell quickly and sometimes don’t show but they update quickly and you can select the dry air filter once it shows on list. I apologies for the inconvenient.
Hey man just wanted to follow up how’s the dry filter holding been debating on getting the dry one over the oiled filter but I haven’t seen much reviews on how it performs?
@@Dantheman88M greetings. The filter holds pretty good. I do notice bit more throttle response and since my truck is tuned it is noticed. Next upgrade will be HPS intake tube.
Greetings. So since I have my truck tuned there is a better response and also notice little better mpg not much. So far 8k miles on it and still looking good.
Were I live we don’t need front license plates so the dealer never installed the bracket but small holes are there just can’t notice from camera unless you zoom in
Those reusable snake oil performance let dust debris through in dusty conditions. Car mechanics see problems caused by them all the time. If you hold them up to the light, you can actually see light through them.
That why I went with the dry filter. Filter little bit more than the wet filter. I know it doesn’t trap all the debris like a paper filter but im not off roading or take dirt roads a-lot so shouldn’t be that bad. If you do a lot of off road or construction then stick with paper filters.
I had a cone style on my frontier that was oiled, when I went to clean it a year later I didn’t re-oil it on purpose and I had no problem running it dry.

Hello nice ride, any update on the performance of this filter, is it worth it?

Off topic, but how did you cover up the license plate holes? Assuming you had some. Mine are just there and looking to over it up
