Forgot to mention that I’m running a Sonar Pros dedicated wiring harness for all my electronics. I got the questions several times and wanted to clarify!
Great question. I actually prefer the 20 in the big stuff because of its ability to maneuver through that stuff. When we get in really big water I’m always working the waves and the 20 is just a little more agile
I know Brandon is a big proponent of adding the locker trim, but unless you are getting a new boat every year or two, I would advise against adding the top bulb trim around the lockers. It will make the deck lids uneven/sit at an angle which will drive you nuts over time. And, it will warp your lids over time also, especially on the long side locker lids. Just make sure all through deck screws are tight around the lockers (Skeeter is infamous for not getting these tight) and also make sure your latches are set to put a slight bit of compression when locked. That's all you need to do.
Bass boat live wells seriously lag so far behind saltwater live wells it’s crazy, especially considering how important keeping fish alive is to you guys. We’ve had pressurized live wells and high speed pickups for years where the water pressurizes against the lid and high speed pickups force fresh water in even at high speeds (big 30+ center consoles often go 60-70 mph in flat water). But yall are using pool noodles and mats and recirculating the live wells at high speeds!
Are you running powerpole charge to charge your lithiums? I just bought the same exact lithium setup as you. Love that the impulses are heated since I'm in northeast
Let’s work on Kyle not crossing the center line of the creek and getting the camera boat driver yelled at, then maybe we can discuss driving the boat. Baby steps.
I bought a new 21’ skeeter this winter as well. 130k$ Canadian. Frankly the cost is out of hand. We’re basically playing a rich person’s game. Us lucky few who can spend thousands of dollars a weekend, and spend all year fishing as a sport. Im one of the lucky few. I built and sold a company, and invested heavily in the tech industry at the turn of the century. I am 42 and retired. I can just fish. Unfortunately for the average kid coming up, it’s completely unattainable. I let a local high school team use my boat second boat (2020 Ranger), and every year it’s the same story, some kid is graduating, wants to keep fishing, but he can’t afford it. Only the top guys are making a living. Everyone else is scrambling to get by. We’ve ruined bass fishing. I started with a 9000$ bass boat when I was 14, and won our provincial high school league 3 times, and won a boat in an open in Quebec the year I graduated. You can’t start out for 10k anymore, not even close

Hallman last year had issues with pool noodles and dead fish because of the noodles deteriorating. That mat looks like a better material though!
So far it seems to be holding up well. Still a good idea to check tho from time to time
Again, a beautiful layed out rig!! We were hoping to see you in Tulsa but health is keeping us home in Idaho.. Good luck this season!!
Awesome set-up bro!...Hope you have a great season!
Awesome set up. Great video would love to have one. But at my age will never have one. Praying your season will be great 👍
Awesome setup Brandon good luck this year
Hope you have a great season
Let Vandy Drive
Awesome vid as always! good luck at the classic in a few weeks!
Let Vandy Drive…..to Dairy Queen. Great video, dudes! See ya in NY!
Let VAndy Drive lol best of luck this year Brandon can't wait to see you win some more.
Thanks for the walkthrough and the set up tips!
Great boat tour, I’m curious why not the FXR 21’ you guys are in a lot of big water. Good luck this season, be safe!!!

Best looking boat period! Skeeter is bad ass
Let’s watch out for that timber this year! Your hull is still in the yard I see it everyday 😂
😂 problem is we still don’t know what happened on that one. Never saw what it was
Maybe just a quick lap for Vandy!

It’s not even on this boat or mentioned in this video because it’s not needed with the new design of their taller rails.
@@BmpFishing Great yeah I was posting on the older year vids, good to know they finally fixed it :).

Let Vandy Drive.....
Kyle, you can drive my boat.. Lol its got a bunch of snacks..
Hey B how the heck did you get your short arm to reach underneath the deck enough to through bolt the troll tammer?
Gotta go through the front

Let vandy watch you drive 😊

Is there a reason you don't run the target lock system with mega live? and good luck at the classic.
It’s amazing when using spot lock, but it’s not up to speed when moving and scanning.
Cool! Love Skeeter boats! Lithium and Yamaha, what's the deal? Okay, not okay???
I see they added the live well padding. Are most tournaments going catch/release now or is that only certain lakes?
Hey, what mount are you using for your 360? I notice you where taking it off on St Clair last year.
It’s just the standard Humminbird mount but I use Solix or Apex knobs instead of the bolts.
Nice setup. What's in the box under the tackle compartment lid?
Bass fishin electronics also has a spare prop holder so I’ve heard I may or may not be employed there
Except they are out of stock!!

I completely agree. I think some of it has to do with price points

What GoPro mount is attached at the dash? Looks like it is connected to the apex bracket
Correct. It’s a Taddo Designs mount.
Great video! What do you think of the Quest?
It’s the best trolling motor out I think. It’s not the lightest but it’s too toughest and fastest.
will your lithium cranking battery "overcharge" and shut your motor down when making long runs when they are 100% charged??
The Impulse does not, but not all Lithium batteries are created equal
@@BmpFishing good deal!
Curious, why the FXR20 over the 21? Noticed you haven't run the 21 for a while?
I’ve actually never ran a 21. I like the agility of a 20 when we get in big water 6ft plus type stuff
Hey BP as a fellow Yamaha owner I got to know where you got that sweatshirt!
Off the Yamaha Pro fishing website
are you using lithiem batteries for your yamaha?
Let Vandy Drive eh!
Better kick some butt. I want only first place finishes from you.
Can’t get a clear answer from anyone. Are do the fxr and zxr have the same hull or is it different?
Lithium Cranking Battery??

This is a very valid point 😂

You running two live ducers in the back?
I don’t have any in the back and just one up front.
Is your 2024 boat sold yet?
Can I purchase this boat from you this fall?
This one is actually already sold

Why 8s and not 10s?
In case I have to slide under a low bridge in shallow water
@@BmpFishing makes sense
When you going to sell that boat
Somebody let that video guy drive the boat…
That is a lot of money in batteries😅

you all still gonna use pool noodles lol
