I finally remembered the name of this game from my childhood, and then found out theres a remake coming, AND had a nostalgia wave so big it almost brought me to tears.
I'm really hyped for it but i want to see way more options, enhancements and amazing graphics as compared to it's predecessors, it should be worth the wait!!
So, the units are: 1. Green Beret 2. Sniper 3. Diver 4. Sapper 5. Driver/Thief 6. Spy Since pretty much anyone can driver vehicles, it's likely that the 5th was the Thief. Then again, only the Driver can operate Tanks and Panzers. Maybe Driver and Thief become the same person, this time?
0:29 hmm, even if you are looking the other way I think you would hear/feel someone carrying a barrel and placing it literally 2m of you...I really hope the game is tactical enough and not another dumb AI sitting duck game.
I particularly loved standing behind a wall in Commandos 1 and pistol killing hoardes of enemies as they mindlessly ran round the corner into the oncoming bullets :D lol. The game was tough until I worked out that. lol
What with this recent trend of games having cartoon-ish graphics? Some of the things that made the old games look good is the rather realistic style of graphics. Regardless, as someone who grew up on Commandos, I'm getting a strong feeling that this one is not going to have a great launch, and it'll take too long for the devs to fix the game.

I used to love playing Commandos on PC back in the days! It'll be fun to play it again!

I HOPE the animations are quick. Nothing is more frustrating than trying to do something quick but you have to wait for the animation to play through.

Noce! Always loved the Commandos games on pc. Hope they get the controls right. The og 3 they brought to the console were a bit rough control wise.
Make the characters rough and gritty and mean. Also use the behind enemy lines anthem and pulsating sound tracks.
