To the women Briana i think is her name whom took the shot at the bear...Stop grizzling about your failing the shot and put your energy into trying to backtrack where the bear stood when you took the shot ,then looking for a bloodtrail....Nothing worse than people not knowing for sure whether that animal was wounded or not!!!....If you dont then you have no place as a hunter!....Found it pretty immature ,behaviour and totally unempathetic to the bear.

When you shoot and the animal runs off the first thing to do is grab some crackers out of your pack, drink some water and relax. Give them a couple of hours. Then SLOWLY sneak up there and look for blood, hair etc. I've tracked plenty of wounded animals as a guide so don't argue. These two clowns were amateur hour.

I know these people need food, but the couple excitement over killing a bear is distasteful, to us city folks. Also their lack of identification if it was a Sow(female) who could have cubs w/ her, or if it was a Male disturbed me. You can't just shoot anything. Not identifying the gender was disturbing again. They said they never had bear meat was also revealing. This seemed more like trophy hunting instead of survival. Just my opinion.😮 38:30

My dad was a hunter in the 50's and 60's he and my brother hunted many forest animals, large and small including bear. He was raised on a farm. His motto "we only take what we need". 🦌🐻🦃🦆🦚

It i every dangerous to go after a bear you just shot. You need to wait al least 30 minutes before tracking an animal you just shot. If its not a heart or lung shot all you will do is push further into the bush. The waiting time will let the animal stop and rest there if it is hit, will bleed to death.
These methods you are showing is a very bad hunting technic unless you see it fall and stay there, and eaven there you wait 10 minutes to let the animal expire.
