Please note the reading in this video appears to be incorrect! If you look at the connectors in the plug when it’s unplugged you will see there’s a shorting prongs that short out the pins for safety thus if you test as shown the results are approximately.5 ohms to . 09 ohms to get true reading you need to put a small screw drive under the shorting clip to move it away from the pins then connect your meter to the pins via the back of the plug where they can be seen through the plastic the readings on my car and the replacement belt tensioner is 2.7 ohms hope this helps and save the cost of a replacement part you may not need!!
I have a 06 33Ci with a red airbag light. The dealer said it was a drivers pretensioner. I tested both as described in the video and both ohm out at .3? Any ideas which one is the bad one?
I have a 2008 325i E92, I have tested replacement pre tensioner, it has a 0.6 reading however I still keep getting 93AA belt tensioner fault and cant clear it. Any ideas about what i might be doing wrong ?
I have an issue when I plug in the seatbelt the alarm keeps sounding and eventually shuts off after a little while. I have a 2013 bmw 328xi. Can you help
I keep getting a resistance too big and my meter reads much over 1 like 1.6 and 1.7 . One is from a used car and the 2nd is from a company that rebuilds them
