Your note card method seems like a really interesting way of outlining! For me personally I outline through just having a digital checklist of everything that happens in order, and I fill in extra stuff as I’m drafting.

I’ve found that it’s a lot easier for me to stay organized while outlining and drafting if I have the checklist, plus it gives me a rough idea of how long each chapter will be word count wise, and it helps let me know how much of the story I still have to write while drafting, so I definitely recommend you try out this method. :)
I’m super glad I’ve found your channel while you’re in the process of doing all this! I just started working on the brainstorming for my first writing project and it’s taking me longer/I don’t have a deadline because I have no due date for anything since I’m just doing it all for myself, but your vids have been helpful! I have no idea if I’m a plotter or discovery writer, but I know for sure I couldn’t do full on plotting and would probably be exhausted by it (simply can’t relate to the 80 question character sheet girlies but I’m envious of them) I like the loose notecard plotting a lot!
Lynn you are so pretty!! This is so helpful :) I don't outline too much so these are good exercises for me when I'm stuck. Having those outlines on your walls is also really poetic hehe. LMAO fun and pain that cracked me up. Oh my please teach me how to draft and revise within a few months. I like your dress in the last clip :)

ohh a digital checklist is really interesting as well! I'm definitely a to do list type of person so I might just try that out sometime :)

The middle part of the book is definitely the worst to write, I agree.
