In this video, reputed skills trainer, Mamatha, shows how to make an eco-friendly background decoration for the deity of Varamahalakshmi (ವರಮಹಾಲಕ್ಷ್ಮಿ) Devi.
Worshipping of Varamahalakshmi, the goddess who bestows boons, is a popular religious festival of Hindus, particularly popular among women of Karnataka, Andhra Pradesh, Telengana, and Tamil Nadu.
The pooja is undertaken on the Friday before the day of full-moon in the month of Sravana (July-August). This year it is on August 9.
