My only disappointment about the video is that I wish you would've slowed down the camera and slowly turned around to view all sides and the back of your hair to really grasp the braiding pattern. but nevertheless, I have a general idea of how you did the braiding pattern. I tried and never could get even an "okay" result! I will keep trying but If not, then back to wearing my cheap wigs. Lol. God bless those hands tho! haha

I constantly get asked how I do my hair and how I change it frequently.I thought it would be better to give an idea then to keep trying to explain it verbally. lol but my first sew in was a great experience i loved it. Dont be afraid to try it. Its cool to change sometimes.

Practice! Practice! Practice! It gets better as you go along!! I just started doing mines a few months ago..
So what you do is get someone to braid your hair in that style and sew it in yourself. Or just get someone to do the hair style from start to finish.
+forrealgirl 42 i do that too...I let the aferiucans braid it and then I sew in the weave myself.
I do recommend practice. I learned how to braid in less than a month after I got serious about it. Companies design dolls will textured hair that help you learn how to braid (I used my dog's back, but it's whatever you have available in your area).
I cornrow my hair sometimes, but if I want it to last longer I go to the Africans. I cant braid with extensions.

how did you learn to braid from the top of your hair down? I know how to braid but my brain and hands freak out when I try to coordinate the two, while trying to braid like that. do you have any pointers?
+lola bev It has been something that I picked up on my own. I actually have hand problems as well. Im sorry to say I have no pointers at the moment. I just take a rest every other braid.
+lola bev girl! yes you read my mind. Im actually pretty decent at braiding but for the life of me my hands will not allow me to braid forward, like they just won't do it, its like I have a spasm that stops me from braiding in that direction

Hi ! What kind of hair did you use? & how many packs or bundles?
I really like that you didnt have on makeup. It seems unrealitic when I see a youtuber recording a tutorial of this type with full face makeup with conturing and everything. I mean I'm not bashing anyone but, it just seems weird to me. like braids of this type take time, you just don't do that quickly and go out.
