- In today's video I take you to Disney's Saratoga Springs Resort for a full updated resort & room tour for the end of 2021. I show you the grounds, the amenities, 5 pools, pool activity's, food options, bar options, transportation, the gym, the spa, some history of this resort and how close you are to Disney Springs. I also give you a room tour of our 1 bedroom DVC villa. To end with I quickly talk about why I haven't been uploading for the past week and that videos are back on schedule. Thank you for watching my friends! Just a few quick notes to go along with this video. If you book a studio DVC room you won’t get a washer and a dryer. You will also still have a kitchen but not a full kitchen but that includes a microwave and a refrigerator. I did just learn that the Gran Destino Tower is a moderate DVC resort and not a deluxe resort. And keep in mind that you can always order groceries to be delivered directly to the resort right to Bell services.

Just a correction Dev - Gran Destino Tower is not a part of DVC. I wish it was, I’d love to use my points over at Gran Destino! There is also no “moderate DVC”

We were never excited about SSR prior to our first stay in 2019. We fell in love with Saratoga during that trip and can't believe it took us so long to stay there! Even better - We added a Saratoga Springs DVC Contract over the Summer, so now we have even more reasons to stay there! Thanks Dev for the awesome video on our new Home! Dev, This is one of our home resorts. Love it there, we spent a week this last June there. Just wanted to make sure everyone knows they have Studio rooms, which don’t have the full kitchen or laundry. You do great work, keep it up.

I do like how close and convenient it is to Disney springs via walking but its my least fav disney resort because it feels more like an apartment than a disney resort in my opinion

I wish Disney had more varieties of soda. I’m a Pepsi guy and it seems there would be more variety with that then there is with Coke.

Hi PC Dev, SSR is our Home resort and as a DVC resort it is actually one of the most disliked DVC resorts, which is fine with us. Thats means we have no problem getting a room! I am disappointed with the update as they took out the whirlpool tubs and just put in an oversized tub in its place. Not cool DVC! Thank you for showing everything available at SSR! Glad you got to enjoy your time there!
I can’t believe it’s disliked. It’s such a fantastic resort to vacation. And yes I miss the jacuzzi bathtub also!

So excited for this! We love these videos. Can't wait for the Aventura one as well. We're thinking of staying there for our trip.
There is one other area: Grandstand. The rooms overlook the golf course and is in the opposite direction of the areas you reviewed. There is a nice pool there too and very close to the reception area and Artist Palette. The only thing I don't like is the buildings are not clearly marked and I think (as a New Yorker) the architecture falls short of Saratoga Springs, New York. The buildings are more Victorian and have "gingerbread " on the facades. Love the rooms and especially with the renovations the got rid of the pull out sofa (uncomfortable) and now have Murphy beds. This is one of my home resorts and a family favorite for location.

We stayed at the paddock in a studio 3 years ago. Resort was nice, but too cold to swim due to a cold snap the entire stay. Really hoped for an upgrade as we were there for our 25th anniversary and 2 birthdays, but it wasn't meant to be. This was before the big refurb. Would love to stay again in warmer months this time 😊

We stayed there 6 days this past August in Congress park, 4 minutes to walk to the Springs. The room was renovated and beautiful view of the Springs, Room 1714. Our only complaint the store is really far from our room. Great post as always and we were fortunate to meet you and your lady this past June. Tom and Maureen LINY
Subbed! I was at Pop Century August 20-27th last year around the same time you made this video. We've been looking into the Flexi Canx villas for our whole family. We visit every summer. I met my wife at Disneyland where she used to work. When you would get to the top of the Hollywood Tower you could see our house that's how close we lived to Disneyland.
This is my home base. Purchased in 2006. Have a trip planned in November.

Our home resorts are Boardwalk, BLT but probably my fav to stay is OKW. Bing the original just feels more spacious.

We stayed at Saratoga. The rooms needed repairs and upgrades. We were not impressed. It felt like we were staying in a crowded apartment complex. On a positive note, we loved The Artist’s Palette. Great food. The gift shop is very nice. And I got to go to a sketching class to learn how to draw Mickey in different poses.

I was there a week and a half ago in that bottom room in the Paddock you pointed out. We had such a great time there and hope to come back in the near future. That pool at the Paddock was the highlight of the stay at the hotel. Dang I want to go back now.

We love staying here. We can almost always get a reservation for those last minute trips. There is or was also Chip ‘n’ Dale’s cafe down by the golf course that not too many people know about that has pretty good sandwiches with outdoor seating.

I've actually stayed there a few times and mostly loved it. Once my scooter didn't fit very well, but I managed. Glad u guys had a good time.

Pcdev this may sound like a dumb question but as you're walking around the lake do you have alligators in there because being from Las Vegas that's all we ever hear about is all water has alligators in it so is it something you have to worry about

From your past WDW visits can you give any pros and cons on WDW’s Le Cellier Steakhouse vs the Yachtsman Steakhouse. The only negative that I see is needing a park admission for Le Cellier Steakhouse. We are going to WDW next year and my wife wants to go to a steakhouse. Thank You very much. Take care and have fun.
It’s easy, just go to Le Cellier! Don’t waste your time trying to compare. I didn’t really care for Yachtsman steakhouse.

I'm so happy that you enjoyed Saratoga Springs Resort. Saratoga has been my DVC home resort for 17 years. I never regretted purchasing. I love it and like you my favorite areas are Springs and Congress Park.☺️
This has been our "home" since 2004. Coming down from Toronto on Saturday for 3 weeks. The jockey on the horse statue outside the Carriage House wears a black cape making it a headless horseman for Halloween.

I used up all of my DVC points this year, so I just rented some more for next year and booked 6 nights at Saratoga Springs for June. Looking forward to getting back to this beautiful Resort!
In regards to upcoming Disney transportation changes. I'm not sure if they still do this, but I got a credit signing up for Uber. It made my ride from the airport(Orlando Airport) to Double tree(universal entrance) SO much cheaper! I believe we ended up paying $11 for the ride after the credit (plus a cash tip)
