Fun updates on battery life after using a combination of SmartMode & Power Saver Mode on this OnePlus Watch 2.0 ~ are very interesting. The best part is how many features OP included inside the battery-saving mode! It was... Thursday, 03/07 ~ fully charged to 100% at 18:50 Friday, 03/08 ~ smart mode all day Saturday, 03/09 - power-saver mode all day Sunday, 03/10 - re-enabled smart-mode and the battery life changed in the app from 44% down to 23% within 300 seconds. Ergo, does the battery life not correctly send/estimate from the watch to the O'Health app? Regardless, yes, the two modes are fun to use, but I don't thing OnePlus should have designed a reboot when transitioning from Power-Saver Mode over to SmartMode. 09:54 now, battery is at 22% with an estimated 21 hours to go. And that means my battery test has lasted 62 hours. The 100 hours is not a myth, but not too many minutes of GPS workouts can be used if you want, or perhaps need, to get to 100 hours off one charge.
They are only on their 3rd version. I have strong hopes for the app! I tried using it around 17:30 and I was still locked out. I sent a request to Zepp Support to figure out how many questions are allowed each 24 hrs.
I was going to try that very task next and then was blocked by the sheer # number of questions asked to make that first video. I will give that a few tests today and perhaps create a YT Short for you. How does that sound, eh?
As a fun note... nope, it did not take a full 24 hours before the Zepp Flow allowed me to ask further questions. It was about 18 hours, sometime around 17:00 to 18:00 the following day, yes, I was able to use Zepp Flow again on my Amazfit Balance.
@@wojciechsedlaczek3116 Okay, I powered it back on the Whatapp is not connecting in a way that I like. I was able to get a text message using both Alexa and ZeppFlow, but not with What'sApp, sorry. I can try again next month perhaps, Amazfit will release more updates.
@@PeterHerget I almost instantly swapped the watchstrap with one that isn't stretchable/elastic. The strap that comes with the watch looks good enough, but as with other types of elastics, when being stretched tightly they will eventually get loose, and with the new strap on I don't have to worry about it anymore.
Interesting... I have not noticed any stretching to the point where my Balance becomes too loose on my wrist, but over time, yeah, that could become an issues. Thanks for the comments on watch straps!
Could you explain why, I hesitated between those two and I ordered the amazfit balance instead because of the battery duration. I will receive it soon. What are your reasons?
@@chaudcola for me the OS of the Amazfit Balance is just as easy to navigate through as the Wear OS, and as you've mentioned yourself, the battery life is quite a lot better... The latest updates to the Amazfit Balance also give you the option to use the watch nearly "hands of" with the new AI voice assistant/commands...(Haven't taken myself time yet to read through it all, so at the moment I have it switched off)
That is another great idea, and dang it! Now, I feel the need to make yet another video about the amazing Amazfit Balance. I still find it difficult to believe it is on sale for $199 USD right now.
Unsure about that functionality, sorry, I don't use WhatsApp for I was getting too much SPAM. As for FB Messenger & Instagram, sure, I'd be happy to run a few tests :)
Hello, thx for this video. I have some questions, do you managed easily the calendars informations from you phone ? Or this device is is autonomous to handle calandars notifs ? Br.
Yes, I was able to manage three different calendars over three different Google Calendars inside the app. And yes, I get notifications from all three calendar accounts on the OPWatch 2.0
Could you explain how bluetooth calls work please? Especially when the user has the headphones connected. Why the software does not transfer the audio of the phone call to the headphones but that goes to the watch speaker? thanks
Sorry, I no longer have this Balance watch. I just have the following: 1. Cheetah Pro 2. Falcon 3. T-Rex 2 I gave away my Balance to a friend in exchange for a pair of customer earbuds.
I tried to use Whatsapp on the my Amazfit Cheetah Pro along with Zepp Flow and it functioned... just okay.
