As always, I am so thankful for you not only taking the time to film these but also post them for us again. I have learned more from your videos then any book! If it wasn't for your videos and write ups I would have quit ages ago pursuing plush making. Thank you bunches for continuing to spoil us with you adorable work
This is such a cool process, and reading through the write up was super informative too! I'm glad you pushed through the seemingly infinite challenges this thing threw at you. I've been absolutely loving seeing this doll and the others in this style on Twitter too; honestly a highlight of my day. Their little faces are just too cute! Thanks for making this video
I felt that at 5:28. If I had a nickle for every time that happened on one of my various projects, I would be wealthy indeed. Stunning work, you're always an inspiration!
I just wanted to say i appreciate you, you inspire me to keep working at my dream of making my own plushies, even if im having trouble with my embroidery machine, someday when ive gotten good ill have to return the favor heheh... but don't let anyone get you down cause all the trash talk is just worthless lies from people who cant tell trash apart from treasure, (that mindset is alot more common than most people would think)
she looks so lovely!!!! :'D thank you so much for sharing this process, your videos are always super nice to watch. i love the music you use btw, it always enhances the experience 100%!! one thing i was wondering is: how did you attach the eyes to shifty's face? (no worries if youre too busy to answer that ^^; im sure youve got a lot on your plate!)
thank you so much! they are plastic safety eyes. it consists of the eye and then a post that sticks out the back that you insert into the fabric. all of these come with a locking mechanism that you slide onto the back to keep it in place. you can see it a bit better the 2nd time i apply the eyes in this video
I really felt your pain with the wrong eyebrow color! Just the slow “nooooo” you must’ve felt having to go back and fix it ahh. But what a BEAUTIFUL plush!!
I have a suggestion for your next tutorial video: glow in the dark effects. I was wondering if you had experience with making fabric or embroidery glow in the dark. I know GITD fabric paints work for minky, not totally sure about embroidery. I know there are GITD embroidery threads (though they're quite expensive). Apologies if you've already made a video or mentioned in a video!
i've never done glow in the dark effects myself but i've seen a recommendation for this brand of thread: www.amazon.com/dp/B015XHY9FG/ref=redir_mobile_desktop?_encoding=UTF8&psc=1&ref=ppx_pop_mob_b_asin_title i've also heard of a technique where you paint the BACK of the minky with glow in the dark paint so you don't affect the nap!
Oh, that's how sublimation looks!! It still looks so soft 🥺
i love these settings i use, it gets so deep into the fibers and gives it a really soft look 🥰
yes.... YES......... a perfect creature
Sussy!
Excellent video, thanks so much for sharing the process :)
Thanks for watching!
The total dedication, to remake that entire head just to get the eyebrows right! You are so cool honestly!
thank you 🥰
