The analysis of why people cheat is interesting, especially for extended periods of time. I haven't cheated in an online game since when Counter Strike was a half life mod and I cheated for like 1 session before it got incredibly boring and I didn't get any satisfaction. It's got to be a trolling mentality, they must get satisfaction from ruining other people's games. This must come from a frustration that they suck at the game and are so narcissistic that if they can't be the best at the game then nobody can have a good time playing. Most of the reasoning I can come up with is just plain sad, these dudes need hugs and a good therapist. It's the same type of people that troll you in twitter comments, people who waste their time saying the dumbest shit and stirring up arguments.

Doesn't work. Some ISPs give you a new IP if you have xDSL when you reauthenticate. Sometimes you can release your IP and get a new one. Then if someone happens to get the same IP you had when banned, they won't be able to play

Yo Jankz, I want to say I think I may know good way to describe the different “feeling” when you got beamed by a cheater. Personally I think a good way to describe it is, it feels your game isn’t sure how to respond, and just doesn’t allow you to make inputs for a very short second, and while being shot your inputs just feels slow and buggy

When you’ve played games that have had a history of cheating like GoW and what not, you never forget that feeling. Some may feel more subtle or unsure, but usually if you’ve been there, you’re probably 70% right. I’ve been wrong a couple of times, but a lot of the times on Apex, it’s bad when you suspect it.

I gave up on Apex ages a while ago. Just a sad state of a game. I’m still surprised ppl are even still giving the time and energy on this game. Not worth my time. What’s even worst, twitter is trying to hide as much as they can of how bad it’s gotten.
The problem with cheating in Apex, Warzone, Fortnite or any other F2P game is that it costs them nothing to have their account banned and then create another one. F2P will kill competitive multiplayer games and it could be easily solved by having a barrier/ cost to entry.
That doesn't solve the issue though. A lot of the cheaters sell the cheats and just come to test them out. Even if there was a cost to entry the amount they make compared to how much they would spend would mean nothing to them
And what's more amazing to me is that there's neckbeards that will straight up say that there aren't that many hackers and that you're just making excuses. It's unreal. I play on console and console has been absolutely swarmed with Horizon Crutchers who are blatantly strike packing or using a Zen for several seasons. Its to the point where i think horizon needs either a significant nerf or a complete rework. Theres zero reason each individual ability of her should have like 17 individual uses on their own, let alone combined. Im the first person to say I got outplayed but im to the point where if i get beamed by a Horizon i automatically report for cheating. Im over it. I had a Horizon a week ago beam me out of a wicked head glitch and off high ground running only a Car and r99. Twice. Second time i repositioned she knew where i was perfectly and shot me for 180 in half a second flat and cringe Horizon ult grav lift spam aped me only to die to the next team bc she jumped off high ground into the middle of 2 teams and got deleted. So someone that supposedly has THAT good of aim running 2 CQB weapons has THAT poor of game sense? Nah. I've been playing shooters for 20+ years. I can TELL when something doesn't feel right.
The real cheaters you need to look out for is the one who have the soft aim. These blatant cheater usually get banned pretty quick but these soft aim player can make it to pred without anyone noticing
0:19 level 15 while hacking isn't crazy thats actually a fast ban because while rage hacking you can make it to level 15 in like idk 5 or 6 games and that can take anywhere from 4 hours to a day or 2 depending on how much you play.

Not to mention my buddy, who’s also pred, got a text from a random we killed to team with them because they were boosting randoms to pred that paid. How ridiculous. It made me shut off the game, and honestly is turning me away from apex in general.we don’t even need to get into all the Cronus players with no recoil that blatantly put it in their name.
Its the perk system. First week of it you could see grenades through walls and bins and also carry 1 extra per slot. 2nd week is the same but for heals.
So from a game developer that dealt with cheater and bots. They don't want to ban cheaters one by one because that will not stop them and anything they do in the short term might just be able to be fixed quicker then anything to prevent it from happening. Now, If they ban a lot of players all at once that will make the cheater go back on the hacker who created the hacks for the cheater. This way it hits the hackers harder and the cheater at the same time.
I think the reason they cheat is because of how shitty of a job respawn is doing with managing their game. I mean fuck how long did we have the loba bracelet glitch before they patched it. I still haven’t got cross progression on my Xbox account. My game crashes at least once a day.
